DO NOT have your wedding/special event at this place. I had my wedding here on 05/29/2021 and it’s been a nightmare. Firstly Hermiz “the owner” is the biggest thief and liar I have ever met. We told them to prep seats, plates, and food for 270 people. My RSVP count was 260 but I added extra just in case more people showed up. Dinner was served late. Literally waited an hour for salad then 30-40 minutes for the main course to be served. Then I had 2 of my cousins come and tell me that Hermiz was serving extra plates without asking me or my husband. When we confronted him about that. He had prepared 2 lies which I’m sure he’s used before on other people. 1st lie was that we had 310 guest. 2nd lie was people were asking for extra plates. My husband and I know for a fact that we had less than 270 guest at the wedding. We didn’t even have the 260 that did RSVP because some couldn’t make it last minute and called us to let us know before the reception. Then later on during the disgusting dinner my sister in law brought to our attention that the bread was MOLDING!!! You can imagine the embarrassment we felt after seeing that. And we saw molding bread on our table too. God knows how many other tables had molding bread. I don’t know how that bread made it out on the tables because his employees slice the bread in triangles and place them in baskets. His lame excuse “a bad box from the distributor.” Then the food was dry and bland. I maybe took two bites and threw it away. Another thing I noticed that was frustrating and let’s me know they only care about money is that I bought floating candles to be placed in vases filled with water and place them around the cake table. They were placed but not lit. Which is quite frustrating because I went out and bought the candles and it was their job to place them and light them. The next day my husband and I are getting calls from our friends and family saying they are sick vomiting and diarrhea while we are on our honeymoon day after day people calling us telling us they’re sick and have FOOD POISONING!! My own mother got sick right away after eating and she couldn’t enjoy her daughters wedding because of diarrhea, stomach pain, and nausea after consuming that disgusting expired food. And I didn’t know she was feeling that away because she didn’t want to ruin the night or my honeymoon. She told me when my husband and I got back. I will be contacting the AZ department of health services to report them. They either need to be shut down permanently or need new management. Read moreMy fiance and I booked our wedding at this venue, paid it off in full and things went downhill from there. Covid came and we were forced to change our wedding date. With arizona becoming a hot spot and how everything was happening, unfortunately we decided to cancel our wedding, thinking about our family and guests. These people are very bad about answering phone calls or even returning calls. When we finally got ahold of them, we set up a meeting with "Mark" who we never saw or talked to. The meeting went downhill very fast. I had no issue paying the $500 cancelation fee, not only did they take that money but on top of that they took 25% of our gross amount. They could never justify taking it, I asked them numerous times to justify what they are taking that money for, when I no longer wanted their services. On top of everything they said as a business they had no money to pay me out and that they would need 2-3 months. My fiance walked out the meeting in tears and very upset, when both mark and his father started getting loud and very unprofessional. They sure as hell loved taking our money but when it came to getting our money back, they didn't have it and became very nasty and unprofessional. In the end they took the $500 plus 25% of the gross we paid, and said $1k can be used as credit if we wanted to do business with them again. THEY WILL NEVER SEE A DOLLAR OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY EVER AGAIN. With this management and leadership I dont see this place lasting long, after people start seeing their true colors. Read moreWOW!!!! THIS VENUE IS AMAZING!!! HERE IS WHY! On March 23, 2024, we had our wedding at the American Royal Palace. Prior to our wedding we had met with Mark who is the manager of the Venue. Mark gave us a tour of the facility. We decided to go with the American Royal Palace as our wedding Venue. He provided in detail what they had to offer. They provided beautiful floral center pieces, head table chairs, and other decorations. The white lighted dance floor was amazing. Mark also fogged our dance floor for our first dance. Mark provided us with beautiful sparklers. He was the most nicest, generous, honest, professional, kind, accommodating gentleman we had ever met. We set the stage for the first time of having a HORSE ENTER THE VENUE. We had a Percheron horse go into the venue. Marks staff was amazing, they went out of their way to accommodate us with anything we needed. The parking was safe, they had a guard at the door. Mark made the venue safe and secured. Mark was walking around making sure everything was okay, and help accommodating to all our guest. Mark's brother Paul was also so amazing and helpful with everything. I normally don't write reviews.
