Juliobertos Mexican Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

I gave this place a 5 star last week, sad but like so many places the food quality went out the window. I normally get a beef dinner special for 5.99 I can't eat the whole thing. Last night got my usual and I swear, there had to be a whole onion in there, so much so the little bit of meat that was put in there was nothing but onion taste. There was 1/4 of the meat that there use to be, no beans and a ton of green peppers and cooked whole tomatoes. The little fresh salsa that's with the lettus, the same way, all onion! I was sick within 30 minutes and threw up most the night with no relief! If a food place can not be consistent in there food recipes that us the public, US the customer can rely on, they will soon find that a loyal customer can also be and non returning customer. Not worth my money or my health!!...

HUGE combo plates! They also put plenty of sauce in their burritos and enchiladas. But my enchilada wasn't melted like it should've been, the cheese was still raw on the inside. Beans and rice leave much to be desired, they don't have much flavor. Carne Asada wasn't fresh and needs to be if they want it to wow people away. None the less, it's decent. FILIBERTOS is my usual spot and I'll be sticking with them.

Huge burritos, huge portions, and decent flavor. My combo plate weighed at least a pound though lol. The salsas are extremely spicy as well but yummy! Juliobertos ia just okay. they give you the amount of salsa you ask for. It's not watered down either. So be careful cuz it's SPICY and a lot of food. $23 bought me enough for five but I didn't realize how big it was...

One of the delicious plates they have to offer, substitute with green Chile. Certain things I have to enjoy the same. Being homeless for months this turned into one of my safe places. Never trying to stay longer than I needed to I would charge up my electronics,my mind and body and step back out and continue my journeys to nowhere. Never asked or received more than I can afford, this location was one of my safe havens. Don't show up if your not buying food. Show up, mind your business don't over welcome your stay and keep it moving. Service,food here is of good quality for the price. Have respect and thank everyone here if you come here in need of just quite or safe place to eat. Thank you Julio bertos I shall not stop coming here to get away...
