Salsitas Mexican Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

I’m not giving a bad star rating. Because I know how hard it for a new business to build. The food is good. However the staff has an attitude several times I’ve been there. I even wrote a positive review on Facebook awhile back ignoring the fact that the employees are rude. Anyways this past time I went and they closed at least 15 minutes early. We waited at the drive through, cars are piling up behind us. So we pull up to the window, waited another 5 minutes we see two people in there with headsets on, then the lady just signals us that they are closed.. no sign nothing. Whatever that’s fine if you gotta close early you gotta close. At least come up to the window or paste a piece of paper on the sign outside so I’m not sitting there wasting my time. My kids and I saw this restaurant on our way home and decided that we would order from here for dinner. The wait was a little lengthy but fresh and made- to- order takes time. The staff were so friendly! I gave 4 stars because there could have been a little more salt and flavor added to our courses and the salsa. We're originally from the South so getting used to the way things are made out here....less salt, but more natural flavors and seasoning has been a challenge.

We tried the Gordita meal. Never had it before. It came with rice and your choice of beans... we chose Refried beans. I did enjoy the sides! I'd come here again to try a different dish. We're trying to expand our pallette.

Ordered through doordash. No problems. Food arrived on time and hot, no problem. My drink was not what I ordered, I ordered a large sprite I get a mexican squirt (I cannot drink it because of medication interaction with the grapefruit in it). Dasher said they didn't have sprite. Really? they couldn't notify me of this? The burrito was the chicken burrito, the meat was dry and not all that flavorful. rather disappointed for the price. Portion size was good. That is why 2 stars. Not ordering from them again. I tried them because of friends recommending them, sorry they fall in with Chipolte with me...
