Great park. The base is sand and much of the equipment is covered. There are 2 toddler swings, 2 regular swings, a climbing structure for 2-5 year olds and a larger one for 5-12 year olds. Lots of variety in climbing structures. There are also fun rockers (ladybug, grasshopper and 4-wheeler). Conveniently by a Smoothie King and Starbucks. Happy momma with my 2 and 3 1/2 year old.

I really like the location of the Water Fountain/Commodes which are conveniently located adjacently to the Playground. Some pretty large kiss were starting to take over the Jungle Gym but we were leaving anyways. It's nice that there are benches encircling the playground.

This park is always great for families. My daughter learned to ride her bike in the grassy area. We saw a pair of kestrels in the trees. We like to come to the Easter egg hunt hosted by a local church on the Saturday before Easter

Very nice park. Nice area, clean, lots of picnic tables, bbqs, and space for pets and kids to play the playground is very spacious as well so kids aren't bumping and pushing each other while playing. Only draw back would be that this park is not well lit as the sun goes down. As a mom that brings her kids to the park to tire them out before bath time and bed, I tend to bring my kids to play later in the day when it's cooler, however the dim lighting makes it more difficult to keep an eye on the little ones (and for them to see where they're going). I any case we e joked ourselves and we...

This is an ok park overall. I do sometimes early morning it can get a bit busy in the parking lot. One time, I tried to drive over and saw a group of people in the lot (maybe an exercise group)... In those cases, you can always park in the G.R. Herberger Park lot for overflow, and then it takes about 10 minutes or less to walk over to this park. Playground was small but packed with fun things to play on! :) Only other downside is in the mornings, they have the sprinklers going so the sidewalk and grass are wet, and then if you try to walk on the sidewalk, you might get sprayed by...

I haven't been to this park in MANY YEARS. . ( don't have small children ). Happened to visit with my niece / nephew. This is an EXCELLENT PARK. .Has totally changed . The play ground is covered ( sun protection )..has a cushion base ( injury protection )..sand surrounding the play area is CLEAN. Grass around the park is green. There are also several Gazebos available for people who are having parties. .and the bathrooms are in good condition. .with toilet paper! Excellent job keeping the Park clean and safe...
