Rodney was very rude to us. First time us being at this place and he asked us if we had a ticket we were confused as to what ticket? He took a deep breath rolled his eyes and asked us again. We still didn't understand so he said the app we said yes because one of us had it but didn't know that he was referring us to it as a ticket. After waiting to order he asked us if we were paying together but couldn't understand him because he was mumbling he got upset again and rolled his eyes. He told the girl he was working to attend us instead. He was doing our drinks and the a customer came in and the girl said good morning he interupted her with it's good afternoon really rude. Then he gave us our drink but again it's our first time here he asked who ordered the island impact and we looked confused and said idk he said you don't know what you guys ordered rolling his eyes. Well we were asked our names at the cashier to be on our drinks for that reason. As he was making our smoothies he even received a call and talked on phone didn't even wash his hands after before making our smoother and even after we didn't know what we were having he was completely rude I don't know why he didn't ask the day off if he was going to be treating customers this way. Read moreI was a first time customer here recently and I just feel the need to express the incident. I am allergic to bananas and specifically asked for a smoothie without any. When my smoothie was served by the young man Sterling, he knew he made a mistake and still served me my beverage. After a sip and having my friend taste it as well, we told Sterling about his mistake. He rudely threw the drink away without saying a word and he didn't apologize at all about the situation! Even after returning to the store to receive his name. I even had a mild reaction just from checking to see if he being honest. I was with my friend and her child as well, so what if that drink had been for the child and some thing happened to the kid, that upsets me more! We even spoke with a manager and she rushed us out the door with $6 refund I didn't care for and excuses of them being busy and he's a nice guy. I work in food industry as well and in HOSPITALS I know BUSY and I have to be aware of every single food allergy I see cause I can possibly kill someone!! Anyone in the food industry should take this seriously, we have peoples health at our hands! I will not be a returning customer and I received another excuse from corporate. So I thought I'd inform the public to double check their drinks! Especially from Sterling. Its smoothies...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I both got food poisoning from here on Monday night. We did not have anything the same all day and then went to this place and 3 hours later it hit both of us around the same time and I have been sick ever since throwing up. I called on Tuesday to make them aware of the issue so they could figure out what possibly did it so no one else got sick and they acted like it was not a big deal at all.
The girl working asked if we wanted another smoothie (at the time no) and then said she would have the owner call us. It is now Thursday and no call. Nor did she ask what kind of smoothie we both got to get to the bottom of what ingredient(s) were bad of theirs and caused this.
Due to the unprofessionalism I had to leave a review. Maybe they will be stricter on their policies of cleanliness of their ingredients...
