Fellas, this review is for you. I’m going to try to keep this short and to the point. Before I get started, if you don’t have a skin care routine other than soap and water, just book your appointment with Stacy now. She will assess your skin and tell you everything you need to know.
To give you some background on me, one of my sisters put me on a skin care routine years ago. She taught me about using cleansers and toners; game changer. She also advised me to go get a facial but at the time I was scared of trusting someone with my face and having a bad reaction. Also, the only place I knew to get a facial was at a hotel spa and I always thought that spas were for women so I learned a lot of things from youtube. Lol
Alright so fast forward to present day, I recently got a gift card to Brownstone Spa that gave me the nudge I needed to book my first facial. Just like some of the other reviews mentioned, Stacy is very friendly and professional. Before we got started she went over the process and addressed all of my concerns. During the facial she communicated what she was doing at each step and informed me on what I should and shouldn’t feel. It was very relaxing and customized for my skin type. She also did some extra things for my beard.
Getting a professional facial was like getting a professional massage for the first time. I didn’t know how much I needed until I got it. Stacy taught me a lot about my skin and recommended some changes to my routine to better take care of it. Although I get an annual assessment from my dermatologist, this was truly and experience of relaxation...
Read moreI understand that emergencies and unexpected illnesses happen—life is unpredictable. However, my appointment was canceled just four hours before my scheduled 90-minute session, and that left me pretty disappointed. What stood out even more was the lack of solid customer service in the initial communication.
I have no issue with a 24-hour cancellation policy for clients, but I believe that level of professionalism should go both ways. Clients also rearrange their schedules and make time for services, so last-minute cancellations without a strong effort to accommodate or make it right do create an inconvenience.
This was my first experience with the spa, and while it came highly recommended by a few people, the first impression didn’t quite meet my expectations. I’m willing to give it another try, but I hope the next interaction reflects the level of care others have...
Read moreWhile traveling on a girls weekend, we had some unexpected time to kill in Phoenix. We didn't have appointments scheduled but the staff at Brown Stone were happy to accommodate us as walk in appointments! After a stressful morning of travel, we walked into Brown Stone and were instantly put at ease and pampered. Not only was the service 5 stars, but the products, atmosphere and education was above and beyond what we had expected. I would absolutely recommend Brown Stone Spa to anyone traveling to the area, or just stopping through! I will most definitely be adding Brown Stone Spa to my must visit...
