This place is absolutely huge! It's kind of hard to navigate it's so big and all the maps make it kind of hard to find where it is you want to go. It was a little bit ghetto there were people racing around the loop, speeding making it a little bit dangerous. There were hundreds and hundreds of people there on a weekday. But they had a skate park and Fields and Courts for every conceivable sport only we couldn't find a volleyball court. There's a huge Lake. A huge Rec Center. There's a dog park picnic tables we couldn't find a bathroom but I know they were there. We ended up playing volleyball on an inconvenient Hill and left after this second Chase between a speeding vehicle and a security vehicle and after witnessing multiple obvious drug transactions and stationary Vehicles clearly using drugs in the parking lot. Not really a place for my 9-year-old daughter and I but still not a bad Park overall. Four...
Read moreI feel like there should be signs telling people what you can and cannot feed the ducks because nobody seems to look up what they can digest properly. Also the ducks seem like they have heat rashes they’re constantly scratching themselves and there doesn’t seem to be enough shade in the area where they all hang out so things get tense with the different ducks 😆. But yeah. DONT Feed ducks bread or junk food. Foods like bread and crackers have no nutritional value to ducks and can cause malnutrition and painful deformities if...
Read moreWell, obviously its a little bit too warm right now to enjoy the park, but it's got the Library right there next to it, and it might be okay to run a bit or walk your pets around Early in the morning.
I used to go there with friends back in Mid-March days of this year and had a great time!!!
There's picnic tables, grills, ramadas, a walking trail all the way around the large, but clean lake. Said walkway also crosses a good sized bridge at one point.
I didn't have a fishing license back then, but I'd like to give it a go, especially if they stock trout in the winter.
The ducks and geese are neat to watch or feed too.
There's not much "riff-raff", or parties happening that I ever saw; during the daytime only, but never had any problems whatsoever.
I'm more than likely going to try my angling skills early next year here.
The pics are just ones I took to remember the...
