This place is not worth your time, guys. This place is disgusting. If you're interested in drinking agua fresca with your meal, this place isn't it. They only have aguas frescas on the weekend and not on the weekdays. Very inconvenient as it's the most common refreshment paired with Mexican or Oaxacan foods. If a food truck wants business how are they not going to offer aguas frescas? I had ordered the burrito de al pastor it was stale no flavor nothing special, really weird combination with lettuce, the meat was just meat cooked on a pan nothing of a flavor of al pastor. I also had ordered a quesadilla de carne asada and was very boring with no flavors in it. Again I ordered a torta de carne asada really sloppy and be surprised!!! no flavors, no salt!!!. Lastly, I had gotten a birria bowl. That bowl was nasty and the birria stunk. It mostly consisted of fat and bones none of meat which was really upsetting by then in our order. The birria was really disappointing the most as it was the most expensive I didnt pay to just get bones and fat with water to be charged about 12 bucks for a bowl of birria. I regret not asking for my money back on all the food to be honest, but I did get my money back on the birria though. They still dont even offer any type of sauces/condiments with your order. Do not even have chili guacamole or any sort of avocado/ guacamole. The salsas are just water and powder. It was really expensive on top of everything. I paid about $42 for basically trash. Do not recommend it to anyone. Do not eat here this place is disappointing. Do not spend your money here guys. I basically paid for all the food and took it home and threw it away. It's a really nasty place. If anyone thinks this place is delicious they have it all wrong; those people probably have never tried real flavorful Mexican or Oaxacan food. In my opinion if you guys ever want to eat at a delicious Mexican or Oaxacan place: Birrieria De Obregon for Birria and burritos and tacos at El Fundador; Best places out there for these types of foods. Dont make the same mistake I made and try these places instead. These places are not going to disappoint you guys...

Do not leave without checking that your food is correct. The owner herself was pissed off and cursing at me because I went back for pupusas made incorrectly and requesting my money back for the inconvenience. Saying she goes to Burger King and Taco Bell and when they mess up she doesn’t say anything.Asking why I have a problem. The pupusas had pork and we ARE ALLERGIC. All I wanted was for it to be made right and instead I get the owner calling me a liar (needing to drive back and take the pupusas back in) to make sure they were made wrong just to get 7 dollars back. If I could stand out in front of the door to warn how they treat there customers I would. Don’t bother so many more delicious Mexican spots that have great customer service and delicious food. Try Don Taco instead they are amazing!!

This is in response to the message left by the owner. The only one screaming and insulting was the owner. I never raised my voice and appreciated when the gentleman tried to help me instead. I understand orders are wrong at times, again I just wanted it to be made right whether fresh new food, money back, or an “im sorry.” The owner expressed anger on the phone when I called to advise of the mistake. Having me drive back in for a money refund. although cheese pupusas were given, it was contaminated with pork and did have pork in it. - after her altercation is when i requested a full refund. For the inconvenience of having to drive back out, my own food left to get cold since I hadn’t eaten it to take care of the pupusas and the disrespect. You are right I requested a full refund. Especially with the disrespect of the owner. I don’t appreciate you insinuating I caused the scene when I didn’t. The owner did. I ultimately...

I went back and forth on if I should post a review or not because though the man behide the counter was very apologetic I have to say I was really insulted by how culturally ignorant he thought I was to Mexican culture so much so that he intended to insult my intelligence and consequently also insulted his own community! This is my second visit, the first time I got the queso birria (which is really good), this time I got a Steak quesadilla and the steak was so tough and chewy I couldn't even enjoy the meal cause I kept spitting out tendons. I was very hungry so I went back and asked if I could just buy the queso birria because of the tough and chewy steak quesadilla and the man behind the counter (not sure if he was the cook or just taking orders) apologized and told me thats "how everyone that order the steak likes eating it because thats how his culture is "accustomed to eating it"!!! Now I could've told him that not only am I well traveled and go to Mexico almost every year I also have an abundance of Mexican family friends that make authentic mexian carne asadas and Azada (steak) tacos and the meat is always tender. However everyone that knows me knows that I'm a very nice person that don't have the energy to go back and forth with people so I just bought the queso Birria and tipped him. I'd suggest going to this restaurant however just...
