Ordered take out. Was at the nail shop and wanted to grab a quick bite.. ordered a Steak sandwich and Beef soup.. the steak sandwich and fries were good and well packaged.. I took three stars off for flavor and customer service.. the soup was bland, no flavor, and had one very small piece of steak- which I couldn’t find.. but she insisted that she put one in there, and it was greasy. I called her over the phone and asked if I could return it, since I didn’t touch it. She said no because I already took it out the store and beef soup is expensive to make. Who puts tomato sauce in the Caldo de Res? It was not prepared well with the broth.. it taste rushed I’ve been here a few times.. and it wasn’t a good experience last time either but I came back to give it another chance . I explained my dissatisfaction and asked for the manager. She claimed she was the owner and her arguments was that- everyone makes it different and that’s just how it is. She doesn’t do refunds for dissatisfied customers..even after told her the vegetables were still hard.. I put my fork through the potatoes and it was stiff. nor did she offer something else.. she didn’t apologize.. just no customer service at all.. I noticed they greeted there light colored customers better than me being a few shades darker. She looked at me from head to toe and it didn’t feel welcoming.. The server was also very short and didn’t make any recommendations when I tried to decide. It just felt very cold. I asked if they could bring the food over while I got my pedi which is 3 feet away and she declined saying it was only one server but really??! You couldn’t walk 3 feet? It would have taken a minute and a happy customer but again I think they seem very prejudice.. but I could be wrong.. never going here again.. regardless.. they won’t get my business. After I wrote this my husband tried the soup and he liked it.. and he's very picky, he went in there again and asked her for the steak and she showed him.. so we are good... Read moreI used to come here 3x a week for food on my lunch break & I definitely will not come here again some employees are sweet & some are rude as well as the manager/owner I’m not sure who the lady was, so make sure you have them repeat your order after! I went in for shrimp tacos on June 28th I got fish so I went back & told them that’s not what I ordered I wanted shrimp tacos & a boy told me I had to pay the remaining balance since the shrimp was more money so I said that’s fine & it was 10$ & some change which I was confused so I thought they were going to give me my refund to my fish plate that I paid for but i went today June 29th to ask about the refund & the manager specifically said that she’s going to see who’s lying & see what her employee has to say bcs the girl told her that I didn’t want the fish anymore that I wanted the shrimp which is not what I said when I went in I specifically said “this is not what ordered I wanted shrimp tacos” & the manager said she’s going to see who’s lying bcs if I’m lying I’m not getting my refund back for that plate or if she’s lying she’s going to make the girl pay for the plate & I told her I’m not paying for something I didn’t eat I didn’t even take the plate back with me I don’t even eat fish as she can tell the plate wasn’t even eaten I literally pinched a fish stick to see if I was shrimp but it wasn’t obviously & I even told the manager if she wants me to come back when the girl is there but she said “no I will tell her to her face if she’s lying” I will be back June 30th & speak to someone again bcs this isn’t right in so many ways! Read moreWe have been here several times. Service has always been unorganized and inexperienced. Waitresses need training on being outgoing and friendly coming from someone with a server experience. We walked in and the "servers" just looked at eachother and then greated us. My bf went in today for breakfast his total was $14 and change he gave the guy $40 so he could get change for the other $20. The server came back without his $20 bill mind you and said well we don't have change for a $20 right now.. (hmmm ok) .. so my bf told the server you know what its ok keep it the nice guy he is he figured you know what let me make this guy's morning.... At this point it was $25 tip who would not be happy or grateful to receive a $25 this guy proceeds to say "ok" and walks away!!!!!! You tell me if we are in the wrong ! We have always been the type to help our local small business but with service like this leaves you a bit disappointed and discouraged. I am speaking on our experience maybe others have had great service and this in no means talks down on this business we appreciate the hard work and availability this business has made themselves in these troubled times and pandemic it is simply those that are staffed and the lack of training or who knows I was pretty disappointed to hear about this today knowing I have referred so many friends to try this location to support this business.
