El Oso Park — Attraction in Phoenix

This is Adriber I will always provide the best and honest reviews. This park is very big and green full of threes and small hills. Can be a great place to bicycle ride or roller skate. Their is no actual stunt section for bikes and skate but it is nice to take a smooth relaxing ride. The children play ground is nice with it's 3 story slide. The soccer field and volleyball is nice. It also has two baseball fields and archery section. However, the basketball section could improve on the rims with no neat. The parking is very small. Not to mention most of the people in the Ramada don't clean up after them self and make the park lot filthy. I was surprised how adult and no surprise there children would just throw trash on the ground. Sad really they have no pride in a park that can easily be 5 start. No wonder the city did not add a pond or water park section. fear of seeing all that money trash. We, if you are near by or on this park or any other park please dont trash it. Also, I noticed the park does not recycled trash and no recycled bins where seen. As always I'm the firm believer of quality over quantity. Park looked ok. Don't go here at night. Unless you're one of the reasons for this warning. In that case you're going to be there regardless. There's light on the surrounding streets, which is where i was parked, getting ready to allow my cat some outside time when she looks into the darkness and clearly she's looking at something. I didn't see anything until two dudes, speed walking popped out from the parks darkness no more than 4 car lengths from me and coming at me fast. If i misjudged their intentions, nahh, i didn't. At the very least they were going for robbery. I turned the car on and left. Key still in ignition as i usually pull it out just enough to silence the key alarm. They slowed down, missed a step when they heard the car engine. That's how my cat saved both of us some trouble on a long and hot drive. Now if i can teach her to bark... 🤔 3 stars because the little bit i did see of the park, it looked decent. Put some lights in there at night even if the park is closed...

This park was very clean and well maintained. It has a lot of nice grass and some shade. The play area is nice little small but the kids enjoyed it. It also has a small splash pad for the kids as well. The only complaint was the restrooms. The few times I visited here in different days Everytime the restroom was filled with the unhoused. The second time I went there were about 4 women in there which is fine but they don't seem to care that the park visitors need privacy to use the restroom as well. The doors do not have locks so one woman tried walking in the stall a few times while it was occupied. So do not send your children to the restroom alone. Other than that it was...
