I've had Indian food all over the valley and this is the best! The staff are very friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes if you don't know what they are. I love the biryanis, especially the goat. I learned what goat biryani was in the movie KD. 🤠 If you seen that movie you know how the old man loved eating the biryani? Well that's me but just in real life! The pani puri, Curry, Indio China noodles, samosas and egg pastry and dosas are delicious. I'm slowly working my way through the whole menu.... so far everything has been delicious. It's a journey that I am happy to embark on. I love their chai, I just wish I could get a bigger size than medium! 😉 I've never been to India but I think this is about as close as I'll get without actually going. It's got to be good Indian food because it's full of Indian people eating it. Anytime an ethnic restaurant is full of that ethnic people you know it's got to be the real thing! My wife really loves the butter chicken as do I. I highly recommend this place, they also have a nice well equipped grocery store. The naan is good and everything we've gotten out of a tandoori was delicious as well. And they have yummy desserts to pick from too! And they also have all you can eat breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday I think it's from 9:00 to 11:00. We haven't been to that yet because it's new and didn't know it was there. We will definitely be going there again and trying out the buffet. It's around 13 bucks a person. 🤠 The only reason I didn't pick more recommended food below is because I haven't tried it yet. But don't...
Read moreI visited this place today, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, the warm and cozy ambiance set the perfect tone for an authentic Indian food experience. The place had a welcoming vibe with clean interiors, a comfortable seating setup that made me feel right at home.
Now coming to the food — it was simply outstanding! I ordered Mirchi Bajji and Punugulu, and both dishes completely exceeded my expectations.
The Mirchi Bajji was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of heat. The batter was flavorful, and the green chili had that bold, spicy kick without being overwhelming. It was served hot and fresh, just like the street vendors do it back in India.
The Punugulu were golden, crunchy little fritters that were soft and fluffy inside. They had a subtle seasoning that made them super addictive, and they were served with chutneys that complemented them beautifully — especially the coconut chutney, which added a cool, creamy contrast to the fried goodness.
Overall, the food tasted homemade yet had that street-style charm, which is hard to find. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was served promptly and with a smile. It’s the kind of place that brings back memories of evening snacks back in India — and it’s now easily one of my favorite go-to spots for Indian food.
If you’re a fan of authentic Indian food or just want to try something flavorful and comforting, I highly recommend visiting this place. I’m already looking forward to...

We are beyond thrilled to have discovered Indigo Grocery & Restaurant—our very own Indian Costco! It’s an absolute gem for anyone looking for authentic Indian products, fresh ingredients, and amazing food all in one place. The grocery section is phenomenal, offering a vast array of Indian groceries, spices, snacks, and fresh vegetables that are actually imported directly from India. It’s like walking through a market in India, right here in our neighborhood. Plus, their meat prices are unbeatable! We were blown away by the quality and affordability—whether you’re looking for chicken, lamb, or any other type of meat, Indigo has it at the best prices around.
But the experience doesn’t end with shopping. After filling our carts with everything we need, we always make sure to stop by the restaurant. The food is absolutely to die for! During our last visit, we tried the Murg Malai Tikka and Chicken Tikka, and wow—we were blown away by how incredibly delicious and tender the dishes were. The Murg Malai Tikka was creamy, perfectly spiced, and melt-in-your-mouth soft, while the Chicken Tikka was bursting with rich flavors, with that perfect balance of smoky char and juicy tenderness. It’s easily some of the best Indian food we’ve had in a long time. They also have my favourite Andra Pootharekulu!!
They are opening their next branch in Gilbert! I couldn’t be more excited to have them closer to me soon. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best of Indian groceries...
