Today I brought my three-year-old son for the first time to this park. It was so amazing. I’m sure it’s so much better in the Spring, fall and winter when the weather is much cooler.
My advice to other families that are planning on visiting here is first and foremost bring sunblock, hats, protective clothes for the sun, light fabric longsleeved shirts. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting wet in and your kids are going to get soaked in the awesome splash pad! They do you have to wear their shoes in the splash pad so be sure that they wear sandals that will stay on their feet or socks.
My second advice is if you think you’re gonna come back again just buy the year around pass that is $49.50 Plus tax I believe. When I enter the park I wasn’t sure if we would love it and be back or not so I went ahead and bought that 10 ride ticket book for $40. I went on the train and carousel ride with him plus he went on a couple of rides 2 to 3 times himself! We burned through that 10 ride ticket book fast. After buying additional tickets I was better off buying the year round pass because we will be back for sure! He was 38 inches tall and he got to go on a lot of rides.
They have a little booth set up for five dollars you can try to throw three ping-pong balls into rings. The awesome part is even if you don’t win, you still get to pick out a very cool, large blowup toy. My kiddo got the coolest blue monkey and a ninja turtle. They had awesome ones for girls too.
The park is beautiful, they do you have very tall trees around the park that do you provide a lot of shade but quite a bit of the park did not have shade. I do wish the splash pad had shade over it because we spent a majority of our time over there, I do wish the airplane rides in helicopter ride 10 Shane as well because the seats on the ride got very hot for the kiddos. Plus as a parent while you’re standing or watching your kid and waiting there’s no shade. So maybe bring an umbrella! That probably is my only complaint is I wish there was more shade in the areas they didn’t have shades around certain rides. They can definitely maybe put up some pop-up tents or additional umbrellas or maybe buy some shades from Costco to hang over.
The staff was made up of mostly younger kids which was wonderful to see them enjoying their summer job. They all were so nice and professional. They were all very patient with the kids and it look like they really enjoyed their job there. They do have a snack bar with really fun ice cream ‘s, hotdogs, pretzels, french fries and other goodies. Plenty of drink options. We had a super awesome time. We are going to be back for that year-round pass.
My little guy really enjoyed the train, the Dragon wagon roller coaster, and splash pad. We wrote those multiple times. I highly recommend this place. Everyone did an awesome job today and we...
Read moreWe took our daughter here for the Winter Wonderland play area they had and were very disappointed. We used to come to just the amusement park all the time and that part looked pretty run down. We went to buy tickets for the Winter Wonderland part and we’re very disappointed were told that even though as her parents we wouldn’t be participating in the snow slide or bouncy castles we still had to pay for a full price ticket. They made you take the train around to get in which just took us in a big circle and when that wasn’t necessary. They told us she would be able to do the slide for 15min or 20min. Even on the unlimited you only got a few minutes before being kicked out of that area and would have to go all the way out and take the train again to play on that again. We chose to get the 1 time pass instead however I timed it from the time we got off the train to the time that they told us we had to leave that area and it was exactly 6min 32sec. That gave my daughter time to only slide 2 times and there was about 20 people on the train we took. If there were anymore we may have only gotten her on 1 time. No where near 15 which we told was the minimum time. We could go to the bounce area and play for as long as we wanted however there are no bathrooms for portapotties in the fenced off area. You have to leave to go and if you don’t have an unlimited pass they would not let us back in if we left to use it. And the unlimited passes would have to take the train to get back in. Even if you have an older kid they would not allow them to go in by themselves selves. It was basically a way to get a lot of money and provide very little. If they are going to make everyone pay then you would think that they would also have something that you could do/play with your kids and at the very least restrooms or access to one without having to leave. One things for sure we will not be going back and I suggest you don’t either. I have included pics so you can see how small the snow slide is. The workers also had their family there and their kids who were “helping” and able to play and slide as much as they wanted. They were rude at the ticket counter and lied about the time you would get to get your money. That’s all they cared about. This the...
Read moreWe were there yesterday for a holiday event with Hyatt. And everything was perfect we had gone on the train 2 times and I had noticed the man sitting here on this slide never set rules or stated to make line other grown kids as my child were going in and out as they please. On the third occasion my child went in and I heard this man telling him inside the slide “ you get on it when I tell you not when you want” with a tone but that’s fine I didn’t say a word. Other kids where going in and my kid was standing in line so I told this man to be fair cause he’s just telling my child at this point. Well this man goes off and starts shouting that other kids are young he’s an older kid there is a box where kids should stand. This man then proceeded to say I was speaking Spanish with my mom about him so I asked him what I said. This man was going off. I have been to enchanted even bought the yr membership and never had experiences like this. This employee should be trained how to state rules/give directions first and then obviously if a child doesn’t follow directions that’s something else. But I had no idea what was going on some occasions kids were just going in and out as they pleased and others had to wait. Which I get it they are 4 yrs old yes they don’t understand but again it was other children around my kids age! And again I stood there quiet and he kept going until we left that area. We went to the sledding area. (We were given 15 min per area) and as we are leaving he’s talking about it loudly again. Like he wanted another confrontation. But again I just kept walking and ignored him. So disappointed this was my son’s favorite place and we had never experienced this in many yrs of visiting. My son doesn’t won’t to come here again. Which was a horrible experience especially on a holiday party! And many other guest knew my dad and went up to him afterwards to see if we were okay....
