I’ve been a diehard le dinersaur supporter since the sandwich days and oh man I FINALLY got an opportunity to visit the shop after moving out of state RIGHT when the spot opened, and stalking them online for years, i’ve had friends ship me treats..savoring their deliciousness even days old. I’m back in AZ and I made it in there today and was blown away by the little details she puts into curating the space. I know how much time and effort goes into what looks like a simple, warm and welcoming little bake shop (and it’s not easy!). Everything from the trinkets to the treats were phenomenal. I had to practice some restraint and got 5 different things to taste over the next day (let’s be honest they won’t last long). I’m just thrilled to be able to see this little bake shop thrive..you’re doing great y’all! p.s. my grandma said that was the best shortbread she’s ever tasted!

I came here to pick up breadosaurus treats for my friend. She really wanted to try them, but the hours the Dinersaur is open conflict with her work schedule. The breadosaurus treats are little 5 bite banana chocolate breads shaped like dinosaurs. (As of May 2023, they cost $4 each.) Parking is on the side of the little shopping center where the Dinersaur is located in the middle. There's no parking on Thomas Street out front. The Dinersaur is a cute little bakery. All of the treats they sell look really yummy. There's no seating inside or out, so be prepared to take your goodies to go. My companion doesn't eat gluten, so she and I were both looking for gluten free treats. Neither of us saw any. Of course, I wanted to try a breadosaurus, so I bought one for myself too. It was very moist and very tasty. I could have eaten one, maybe two, more of them.

We got there, expecting a cafe but it was actually way smaller. We didnt mind though, it was cute and smelling the freshky baked goods and seeing them make the items really sold it for us. The dinosaur cookie was absolutely amazing, it reminded me of my late grandmother's but sweeter and with frosting. The Breadosaurus was not very banana, kinda bitter but soft, spongey and slightly chewy. The Butter-pecan teacookies were so good. Light and crumbly, little pieces of pecan and slightly sweet. A perfect Cookie for my tea collection at home! Overall, a decent experience with great treats.

Aaaack! It was my 2nd time back and I still didn't take review worthy pictures! It's just a bakery experience you want to dive right into.

The bakers are so friendly and kind. How can you tell if a baker is kind? I'm not sure, but go and you'll understand.

The dino banana breads were fresh from the oven. They were toasty and slightly crispy and chewy on the outside and soft and airy inside. The chocolate was melty and just the right amount for a treat but not to overpower the flavors in the bread.

I also repeated on the super cute frosted dino cookie because I can't resist the contrast of a crisp cookie and soft frosting with sprinkles and dragges. They bring me right back to my grandmother's kitchen.

Last time we tried all three pocket sandwiches. That potato bun is perfect. It's just the right amount of food to take a long for a walk in the park or if you need a quick lunch on the go. Bonus: the $4 price and smaller size leaves calorie and cash room for a $1 or $3 cookie or even a dino.

I will be back for the staples and to try the cookies and treats that change daily. So far on those, I've had a soft lemon cookie and a crisp sesame coin.

*On a practical note, there is ample parking in the back...

The goodies here have always been amazing. I have been a fan since first trying their delicious pastries and cookies at First Place coffee truck for many years. Their pastries are some of the tastiest in Phoenix - and always with a creative touch. The vanilla custard Churrovers are on point and yummy. My only minor quibble would be for the staff to hold back a teeny bit on the attitude - just a smattering of arrogance each time I visited the store (including today when I picked up a bag for Mother's Day). Its great to be an Instagram hit, and the pastries are amazing as I've said. The slight arrogance is the only reason for 4 stars - when I left today (my kids ordered the bag of Mom's Day baked goods) I felt like I just needed to pay and scram - no thank you's or warmth extended. No explaining of what was in the expensive bag of Mother's day goodies and it wasn't busy. Pretty much just pay and leave. This isn't the 1st time I felt this way - I'm in a customer service business and people can sense when you aren't being authentic.

Celebrate your customers - don't treat them like a...

Anybody who grades this place a low star has no idea what quality ingredients are or even tastes like. To compare their pastieries to crumble or even subway!?! ....1-crumble has been known to be using ingredients in a box from your local grocery store 🤔 that's not quality. 2-subway??? Really?! Someone compared the dinersaur to subway, that's hilarious. Obviously, your taste buds are dead or you haven't got it back since covid. One thing I will say, though, is if you're diabetic I would ask to see if they have something that won't send you to the moon and back. It is pricey but worth coming every once in a while. I understand that this place is not for everybody but if your going to compare quality this place to cheap quality ingredients than the problem is not them it is you, yourself and that's it. And if you don't know what quality means maybe you should rethink about being a...
