You try shopping there when you have been shopping in Mesa or anywhere else in the city that doesn't lockup beer. You can't even return food there with a receipt. A receipt says, "I didn't steal this". Store has poor customer relations training and they better get better legal advisors because it's against the law to provide food service in a hostile environment. They are very hostile. You especially can not provide food service, in a hostile environment; particularly where there's little food sources. Fry's is in Mc Dowell and 43rd. The next closest store is FoodCity on 27th avenue and van Buren. Ok, if what you want has a Latin influence. You will not be buying any German chocolate cake hear. Really, Mr. FoodCity. All customers want is a smile and a little bit of help. The pride of some of your employees isn't left on us, the customers. And we know why we are being treated poorly. I live here and have shopped, in this building, under other grocery store names since I was 3 yrs old. I'm 61. I liv across the street. Read moreI was holding my tongue on writing a review but today I was really irritated. I'm not sure why the girl working self service named Catalina has such a bad attitude? I entered the self service which I've always done at this location and she's had attitude almost every single time but today I went to purchase something that was locked behind a glass door in the front right by self service and even though there was not one single person that was checking out she told me that I had to go to the only line that was open that wasn't self service and there was 4 people already in that lane. That's the first time that happened because every other time the person in the self service checkout helped me, she even helped me once. I'm not sure if she was just in one of her moods or just being lazy but she needs to be trained that she works in the customer service industry. She was separating plastic bags in another isle and talking to her coworker and talking underneath her breath while giggling at my direction that wasn't even self service instead of taking literally 1 minute to do her job and assist me to unlock...

Patties were frozen and unopened. Per “manager” patties “parishes” once they leave the store. Asked if they are selling parishes food then ? She said would need to talk with store director Ray Valencia. Asked for his contact info, Kate said to call the store and leave a message. I then asked her to take a message since I’m in the store right now….she seemed very uneducated with her responses and looked like she had a brain fart… ended up giving her my name and number to give to Ray Valencia, she left It on counter and walked away… I then stopped her and asked why she left my name and number on the check out lane and didn’t put it away, she said she had “things” to do… I told her she wasn’t being a responsible manager.
