Walked in and everything looked great... till I started getting my veggies, the gentleman working on the floor stood by me and picked up some green onions off the floor (mind you they were stepped on by a couple of people) he put them back on top with the rest. I wouldn't of mind if they had just fallen but they were being stepped on!
I confront him about it and he was so rude
he said "Do you wash them at home" I replied "Yes" and he said "Than" I told him "it was nasty for the reason they where being stepped on" he said "in that case" and he took them back and put them back on the floor 🤔🙄
Yeah! yeah! we don't know what the veggies have been in/on by the time they hit the store....but just seeing it was disgusting! I was planning on buying some but after that just got white onion.
The cashier was super friendly even though she was very busy. Fruit/veggies looked fresh and everything looked good! (Other than what mentioned above)
Would I go again?? Yes why not, I don't think all the employees are the same.
Would I recommend you go? Yes I would. It's clean and everything is very...
Read moreI am even giving this place 2 stars because of the convenient location, a few friendly staff members, and a good selection of meats. Other than that this is probably the worst Food City I have been too. There is a staff member there, a man, who is about 55 years old, skinny, Hispanic or light-skinned African American, who is very rude to me every time I go there. He works the customer service desk too. He has no manners whatsoever and it's obvious that he hates his job. Kudos to a couple of the cashiers though who are excellent and very cheery. I will not return to this store because of the area. There are legions of drug addicts and thugs and homeless people hanging out front. They pester anyone going in there. One of them asked me for Xanax. Wonderful. Then I was almost attacked by a ghetto hoodrat in the parking lot. Not safe, especially at night. Women don't go here alone. The clientele is also shall we say....um...
Read moreThis location is honestly absolute garbage. It’s one of the smallest stores. But consistently has at least 5 to 20 homeless people sleeping in front of it. On top of that tonight is New Year’s Eve and this is the mediocre bag of grapes that I was sold for five dollars. Someone else opened the bag and stole half of it and left a single vine. This is a single pound of grapes that are non-organic conventionally grown that I paid over five dollars for on New Year’s Eve because they have some bullshit club program that they don’t even advertise. How is anybody supposed to be a member of the savings club if it’s not advertised and nobody knows about it? The store is just garbage. I’ve been a resident of Arizona for years and I’ve shopped a different food cities from Mesa to Phoenix and I have never once heard of a so-called savings club . También soy una hispana y hablo español y no es una situación de falto de...
