Example of good customer service... We are sorry that you had a bad experience in our store if you can give us a call at ###-###-#### we would like to see if we can improve our customers experience.
But that would require you recognize that your employees are not perfect.
Very telling how you feel my issues were perceived, how I am a troll, how I am crazy, imply I am dangerous. Instead of working with me you attack me. That is my problem with your store. Oops, I thought I missed something his name was Slim. About my reviews you are right, in years I only bother to write a review when my experience has been horrible. I will try to fix that, offhand I know several excellent stores with incredible customer service, some are posted now. Yours is not one of them. Just use your cameras, how many scruffy men with baggy clothes, black shirt, tan pants, beard, looked at AR15's, driving a jeep, being ignored by your employees, who bought an AR somewhere else did you have that day? Apparently to many. Now let's see if you can come up with a BS excuse for your employees being so unhelpful and discourteous instead of making excuses and blaming the customer. Your response to my review is no different than your employees response to my questions, I am not good enough for your store. Yours is the Gun Store that treats people like dirt because you are Gods gift to the 2nd Amendment. Apparently we did manage to make contact without my contact info, imagine that.
I haven't stepped into a gunstore in over 10 years and after my visit to legendary I might go another 10 years. None of the employees were helpful or informative they just maintained their blank stares. I attempted several times to engage them in conversation but was ignored. I asked them if the weight of a piston operated AR 15 clone was because it had a heavy barrel and he said nothing, staring ahead with a blank look. After several minutes of trying to engage with him he finally confirmed that the weight was from the piston operated system. I thought that maybe it was the clerk so I attempted to engage with other employees, all of which had the same attitude. At the end I volunteered for a strip search since they were treating me like a criminal, but they turned that suggestion down. Getting answers was like I was interrogating a Hillary supporter. I do not understand how they have such a high rating if they treat customers with the disdain they treated me. Was it that my clothes were baggy because I lost 60 lbs after my heart attack and do not want to buy new ones until I lose another 60 lbs? Was it my scruffy beard? I take showers every day, my clothes were clean. I drove there in a new jeep so had proof I could afford to buy any weapons I decided I wanted. Did I violate some dress code? I will never go back to this store but I will use your answers to hopefully have a more productive contact in a store that treats me with the barest...
Read more, So, I walk into this place to get a flashlight for my AR-15 .... The guy, with an attitude as though we have a history, and I'm responsible for his divorce and is only helping me because it's his job, asks if I need help. ... With my AR in my hand, (no magazine and unloaded) I tell him I'm looking for a flashlight that will fit the mount already attached to my gun. .... Without asking or even telling me what he's doing, he gently grabs the gun from me as though it's made of nitroglycerin and will explode if somebody farts, and clears it. (Understand I appreciate him wanting to clear it, but how he did it was rude) .... He points out flashlights that are $90 and up, and says that's all he has. .... I say thank you and start looking around, and guess what? I find other flashlights that are much cheaper hanging on the walls in other sections of the store. .... I called him out on it, and he says oh yeah those might work. What do you suppose that was about? .... I stopped going there because of things like this a long time ago. I gave them another chance, and it looks like they didn't deserve it. .... Update. Less than an hour of posting this review I got an apology from the owner. He seems to be under the impression that somebody told me to take a look around. This never happened. I am the one who took the initiative to look around. ... He seems to think I have a problem with the employee clearing my firearm, I did not. It's the attitude of the employee and the way he did it that bothered me. .... And lastly, from what I understand the employee has been there for an excess of 10 years and should no what product is on the shelves especially when the product has five layers of dust on it. ... This review is not necessarily meant to keep people from going to the store as much as it is for the store to learn from it and do better. .... To the owner of the store, employee attitude, customer service, honesty and product knowledge is EVERYTHING in a business. ... You're offer to correct the problem and wish me back as a patron is much appreciated. I will take you up on your...
Read moreTheir selection was exceptional. There are almost more firearms than you would know what to do with them! That being said, exceptional selection is not an excuse for sub-par service. My experience with the staff was much less than what I consider a minimum standard. If you do not already know what you are going to purchase, do not expect to find any kind of friendly service in this shop. They are highly intolerant of browsing. Every time that I would pick up a firearm, I was asked in a condescending tone if I knew what I was looking for. The first time a customer says "I'm just browsing" should really be the last. The salesman followed me like a vulture, sitting and staring whilst I perused their wares. The few times I asked for information about a firearm, I was spoken to in a diminutive tone that was vaguely reminiscent of Nancy Pelosi. If you ask to see a firearm from behind the counter, expect the clerks to whine about it. All of these issues would have been enough to prevent me from returning, but the kicker was their price markups. I saw a firearm at their shop today of which model I had seen at a different shop for 300 dollars less. Let's tally this up... Condescending, unhelpful salespeople, poor attitudes, and a markup that was about 50% above some of their competition. - 4 stars. Bright side, very impressive selection. + 1 star. Hardly breaks even. to be honest, I feel that two stars is generous. I will not be returning. My advice, Legendary Guns, is to adjust your attitude a little. People like a friendly, helpful salesperson. Your selection does...
