My review of Solano Park: I liked that across the street a street vendor was pedling cool treats. The play area is sand filled with bathrooms close by. There are huge shady trees and a softball field at the end on the school side. But over all, It's a homeless camp. The bathrooms on the women's side had debree and people's clothing draped about it, the shade is all filled with people camped on the ground, the Picnic covered ramada is completely occupied by people with bikes that reacted posessively when i approached. It did not feel friendly or welcoming. If you bring children here, watch them closely.

Solano Park has its own community of different levels; upper class, mid class, lower class - judging others of there clothes or appearance should not reflect on this park. At Solano Park you will find, and I am most certain, your not alone dealin with pain in your 💜. This park is home to me..I have found love, hatred, sadness, happiness, support, safety, loyalty, a FAMILY is what Solano Park is about and I am about that FAMILY. I give Solano Park more than 5 stars.. Show RESPECT get RESPECT... 💯💙✌🤜🤛

Arrived at the park at 9 am; the ramada area is full of homeless people and dealers making it impossible to enter.. By 11:30 am there are still at least 5 people sleeping around the park. There is a playground with woodchips and 2 play structures. They ate child appropriate, however between them are several pieces of equipment that seem to be for exercise and fitness rather than childs play. **update. Sitting here with a family and a man stood up from a bench to publicly urinate on a power box

I originally was happy to move in the area because there's solano park but traveling by it you see homeless people's shopping carts ,blankets laying every where ,homeless people sitting in under the pavilions which have the only grills in the park . The bathrooms are always closed and the water fountain area smells like pee . I wish they would put a fence up like the fence wall at the ymca going to the side walk to the salono elementary school side gate ,something more safer for the school kids needs...
