Milkweed Arts — Attraction in Phoenix

My wife and I have taken two fusion classes (coasters) from Warren. This last class we brought along two of our friends. The four of us had a great time in the class. The topic of conversation at dinner and all the way home was about how much fun we had and the anticipation of our finished products.

Warren is a great instructor, he provides excellent information and guidance. The artwork in the studio is really well done and the instruction reflects the care and professionalism of the artists.

Even someone like me without a creative bone in my body can produce a work that looks good. My wife made coasters last time that amazed my daughter and she displays them all the time at her home!

I have taken several classes at Milkweed Arts and have really enjoyed them all! From wood turning, to fused glass, and even soldering jewelry, the wide variety of classes I have taken here have been very well organized. The instructors are all very competent, both in house (Warren) as well as guest instructors. I've really been impressed with the quality of the classes here.

There is a well stocked retail store with Bullseye glass and frits, stained glass supplies, and even wooden pen blanks for using a lathe. The prices are quite reasonable too!

I wanted to order a bride and groom silhouette on line. But they only had ones with the bride with a bun. I wanted one with the brides hair down. I wrote and told them. Within hours I had a response, with a new hair down bride. I ordered it and added a dog silhouette. They both came together. The dog had a broken leg. I emailed them and within days I got a new one. Both silhouettes are beautiful and I am using them to attach to a "Welcome to the Wedding mirror ".
