Mariscos El Tiburon Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Phoenix

BEWARE EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!This place has gone down hill. By far the worst experience and food out of any and all mariscos I've had in phx. I think they gave us reheated shrimp that had no meat and what little meat they had was chewy hard and mostly stuck to the shell. Then the shrimp and octopus ceviche had to be days old and frozen, they didn't even separate it and served it to us with it still molded in the shape of a square. The hot sauce in the table was watered down and discolored. This was the last time I will go back to this place 2 of us over $70. They over charged us and said it was old menus. The food was so horrible that I showed the manager and she agreed to discount the meal 50% when she came back she handed me a $20 and told me that she wasn't going to charge me the $10 tip. First it's not half and second the waitress did her job why would you attempt to take her tips away? The menu has the drinks at 4 bucks extremely high I was charged 11 bucks for two. When I brought it up one of te other waitresses stepped up and said no worries if you can't afford it I will pay the difference for you. Wow what a slap in the face. On top of the lies and the horrible food they topped it off with insults. Stay clear away from this places, I'm lucky from the little bit we were able to eat, that we didn't get food poisoning. Not worth your time money or to risk...

I ended up here because the first place I went to had an hour wait. I am so glad I found this place. I was craving shrimp again! I had a coco with shrimp & aguachile and we also tried the molcajete with mixed seafood. Ordered a Michelada and a flan at the end. I did not realize this was a karaoke bar but it was such fun to see and hear people singing! I enjoyed this place and had a great time! A banda started paying at 11:00, I loved their cumbia style! Getting back to the food, 😍 WoW...the flavor was mouth watering and the food was fresh. I don't know what it was, but I will definitely be going back many times! The salsa for the chips was also great, just spicy enough. The waitress, I believe her name was Mariana, she was the best, very sweet and made sure we were good all night and even ask the bartenders to make me am alcoholic drink to my taste since I was not sure what I wanted and I loved it. It was a mix of crown royal with cranberry, I believe. I enjoy flan but not napolitano, I ordered one and it looked chocolaty and little weird but once I tasted, I ate it all! I am reviewing a second run to this establishment to see if anything changed and unfortunately it did not. I have to run after waitresses to get my order the first time around, the second time around I got a waitress that refused to listen to me. I had to ask for chips twice before actually getting them, I asked the waitress in English how much a bucket of Budweiser was then she said she didn’t understand me so I asked again in Spanish and instead of answering she walks away , I didn’t think much of it so I just let it go. 20 mins later I was brought a bucket of beer (when I literally just wanted to know how much was it) to make it less awkward I just accepted and paid for it, in Karaoke I expressed I wanted to sing and got skipped so I just stopped, I asked for a shrimp cocktail and of course never got it. This is by far the worst experience I have had in a restaurant, figured I’d give it a second chance and see if things would be different and it wasn’t . They were supposed to have a drag show at 8pm and that never happened. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Hopefully they will get it together...
