I am usually not one to write reviews, but this one is worth sharing. Yesterday I was the last costumer at the establishment and while I should have payed attention when I was handed my belongings that I wasn't handed my car keys it shouldn't have ended in my car staying at the plaza over night until "They open at 10am on Sundays and I can look for my keys then." I noticed I didn't have my keys at 6:05. From five minutes after operation time until around 6:55pm, I and my young daughter waited there while myself and the security officer tried to contact them. The security officer was very helpful, he even contacted property management but they had the same unreliable number himself and I tired contacting apart from the number that is posted in the front of their business that must be so old it turned out to not have any relation to the establishment when being contacted. Thanks to the security officer going above and beyond by not only reassuring me he would keep an eye on my car until his shift was over he also went to the neighboring shop to see if they had another number to reach the nail salon personnel. After calling the given number three times and leaving a voicemail on the third time they finally reached out to me at 7:53 only to tell me no one turned in missing keys (Of course not I was the last one there and they were so eager to leave that they left when I left), that they couldn't go back to the shop so I can look for my keys, and that they open Sunday at 10 and I can go then to look for my keys. Don't worry though they will be about 5 feet away from you to make sure your wireless transfer went through. Also good thing their establishment wasn't on fire because there wouldn't have been a way to communicate them in a...
Read moreI went in to do my nails and the guy did a great job. However, if I could give this business 0 stars I would due to the treatment from another employee. After I got my nails done they charged me $100 which is a lot more than I expected. I tried to pay for the service but they did not accept American Express nor Apple Pay. I was trying to find anyway to pay for the service. I even offered to leave my drivers license so I can come back to pay for it. The employee laughed in my face and said in a rude way “anyone can go and get another drivers license”. She then said I need to leave my phone and was being very loud for everyone to hear. I tried to leave my son’s phone and she said it had to be mine and told me to leave my kids behind. I told her I don’t feel comfortable leaving my children there. When I came back to pay I said that I loved the nails but not how she treated me. She then proceeded to yell “Bye! Bye! We don’t need you here! Don’t come back!” I seriously was trying to make things right but this employee was so degrading that I will make sure that I tell everyone I know never to go to this place due to the disrespect and unprofessionalism from...
Read moreThis Wednesday my mom and Aunt both had went to Shiny Nails for their usual fill ins. They have been going here for about 3 years now and have never experienced such intolerable behavior that came from the owner himself. They were trying to get someone to help them and they only do speak Spanish which is very common in the state of Arizona if you’re not from it. The only worker that normally helps them out was busy and so another worker that only spoke English was more than willing to help and that is when the owner begins to be racist and say “Speak English we are in America you need to speak English.”. Which doesn’t even sound American itself. Mind you my Aunt has a disability as well so for the OWNER to try to decline service to them when his own workers were more than willing to says more than enough about what he is. Do better and be better when it comes to treating people especially if they do not speak the same language as you. You then tried to help them as they were on their way out as if they would want help from someone who was just...
