My wife surprised me with a bucket list item: a zip line adventure. This was our first time on a true outdoor zipline. She chose Legacy Mountain Ziplines because of the great reviews. Let me just say, after our experience, those great reviews exist for a reason. Upon arrival, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. When it was time to start, we were instructed to head inside to retrieve our gear. It was here that we were greeted by our guides Michael and James. Through humor, our group of 11 were immediately put at ease. As we rode the bus up to the initial training area, there was very little silence as Michael told us a little about the area all the while interspersing jokes, many of which were at his own expense. For such a little man, it was immediately apparent that his heart was immense. ALL of our group were given a complete safety briefing and, given his attention to detail, there was never a moment of apprehension. His coworker James was younger, and it was the perfect match up of guides. The course itself was AMAZING! Being from Central Delaware, I am exposed to minimal changes in elevation. The views were breathtaking! There are seven total zip lines, each one with its own attributes. Michael and James were very knowledgeable about how to get the best experience out of each one. There are elevation changes between most of the seven, so prepare to do a little climbing. There are times afforded for a chance to catch your breath. They also offer ice cold bottled water at some intervals. They offer group photos as well as an action shot for purchase at the main lobby. I can honestly say I was a little sad to leave. But, without a doubt, I...

What an amazing experience! Dani & Finn were amazing guides and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. They went above & beyond to make our experience a memorable one. I have nothing but great things to say about Legacy Mountain, but there are a couple things I would want to let anyone know to make your experience more enjoyable. If you want the info, read on. If not, just go do it!

Photo Package: If you are planning on purchasing photos, it seems like you have 1 option: purchase as many pictures as you want from 1 album for $49.99. At the time we did this (7/1/24), there used to be an option for pricing per picture, but it just didn't make sense if you wanted more than 2 pictures, so we purchased the package. What they do not tell you is that there is only 1 location that they take photos, that's it. They take as many pictures as you want on the top of Line 6 and the camera person shoots as many photos of you once you leave the platform until you are out of view (typically seems about 3-7, depending on who is taking pictures).

Zip lining with Children: We brought our 7 year old daughter with us, so this may not be applicable to all children, but worth mentioning in case you have a nervous child. The first 2 lines are small in comparison to the rest, but they do make the kids go by themselves on those 2 lines. My daughter was okay with it, but I was under the impression that we could do tandem anytime we wanted. After returning, I read another review where that was the case, so I figured worth mentioning.

All in all, what an amazing experience. I cannot say enough great things about Dani & Finn. Thank you for a highlight of...

We arrived early as needed and checked in. During the check in process we weighed in and my 4 kids were all good to go! Unfortunately I was just a few pounds over the limit and my option was to ride “man-dem” with one of the guides. I wasn’t going to miss this experience with my kids so “man-dem” it is! I was asked if I wanted blondes or red heads for guides and the answer was was obvious: red heads. They’re crazy. I know a few. Chris R and Matt were our assigned guides and they were super efficient, safe, and had great sense of humor. When I imagined myself having fun with a couple of red heads this wasn’t what I had in mind. Chris and Matt didn’t disappoint though. Chris had the softest hands. He said he uses coca butter and moonshine. Keeps his hands smooth for the clients and his beard looking sharp. I never did find the flashlight in his pocket he kept talking about though.

Matt was amazing too. I knew from our first ride down the zip line we’d be best buds. As we rode down the first line there was a slight nibble on my ear. Apparently that comes with the package I bought. In the 6th line, the longest of the tour, Matt suggested we face each other and I obliged. As we headed down the line, we locked eyes and legs. It was magical. I’ll never forget his mustache. It’s so soft.

In all seriousness, these dudes were awesome guides and the experience was amazing. 10/10 would do again. The views were great, zip lines were safe afaik, everything was clean and looked very well maintained. Hats off to Chris and Matt, they were super knowledgeable and led...
