Mountainscape Cabins — Local services in Pigeon Forge

I booked a cabin here (Mountain Top Delight) for 2 days during the week & ended up getting another 2 days for free due to a special they were having. When my girlfriend & I arrived Monday evening, we were blown away by how wonderful everything appeared. Coming back from a long adventure Tuesday night, we were super excited to get into the hot tub. I decided to turn on the water jets & no sooner than 30 seconds later, the motor made a noise that sounded like something had broken. So we ended up moving to the luke-warm jacuzzi. Wednesday morning, I called the front desk, told them about our situation, had a worker come out who told us that the part that had broken has been cracked & rusted for a while and should have been replaced months ago. It was an easy fix but due to waiting to get approval from the owner & management, we were stuck without a hot tub for the remainder of our stay. By Thursday afternoon, we were "Gatlinburg-ed/Pigeon Forge-d out" and the main reason we had come was for the view (which was absolutely incredible) & hot tub, so we decided to check out early/that evening. I called management to let them know & while I did, I inquired about compensation for the 2 days of no hot tub use. The best they could do was refund me $20 ($10 a day)... Overall, we did have a good time, the staff was always kind/very friendly & I understand that sometimes stuff happens that is out of our control. However, I believe we were definitely stiffed when it came to being fairly compensated and the cabin owners need to do a better job of making sure that highly used amenities are regularly inspected & serviced so that this doesn't happen to other guests. On my trip to this awful place... We had so many things that were lies that we didn't know about. We didn't get pool accesses, when the lady we were talking to on the phone said that we had pool accesses! They never took the trash out! Never fixed the stove (one heating component was broken!!!) We had to microwave a pizza!!!!!!! It was a horrible experience and that place should move its workout equipment from their office. We can't workout when their on the flipping phone!!!!
