The Grand Legacy Cabin — Hotel in Pigeon Forge

This was officially my 3rd time to the smokies and my second time staying at the Legacy Cabins resort through Wyndham Vacation Rentals, and let me tell you, these cabins do not disappoint. The first time I stayed at Legacy mountain, I was with a group of friends looking to get away for a while. We stayed at their Moondancer Cabin. The cabin slept 8 perfectly with 2 full bathrooms and one heck of a view. Walking out to the balcony, the first thing I notice is the generous amount of space between units. This allowed everyone to have a very similar experience in terms of a breath-taking mountain range skyline. With this resort being about 5-10 minutes of of town, you're right in the heart of the best trails in the smokies. My most recent trip here was for my honeymoon. With just two of us, we stayed at their Edge of Forever cabin. This could easily sleep 4 to 5 people and was more than enough space for my wife and I. The Legacy resort is just 5 minutes down the mountain and into the main drag where you will likely spend much of your time. Working with Wyndham and the landlords is done electronically for the most part. Best of all, the owners are all incredible nice and easy to work with. The Edge of Forever unit is the perfect one to choose if you have a small family or just looking to get away for a while with your spouse. With 2 full bathrooms, a huge kitchen and open floor main level, a king size bed and a pool table, you could feel right at home. But who doesn't already feel that way when in the Great...

We have rented this cabin twice in two years. A year ago the cabin was in immaculate condition. The views are amazing and there was plenty of room for everyone. This year we returned to the same cabin to find the floors severely warped with deep scratches in multiple places throughout the main level floor. Although there was a scripture carved over the master bedroom door the year prior, this year when we returned there was a Bible displayed on the coffee table, and another Bible in a box on the fireplace next to a crucifix. There are multiple crosses on display in the main living area as well as in the decor throughout the cabin... NONE OF WHICH ARE PICTURED IN THE ADVERTISED PHOTOS. We did contact the main office to inquire, however were made to feel as if we were making a big deal out of nothing. Our issue is that the religious symbols are not advertised...

The cabin we stayed in was beautiful along with the views and that's the only reason for the 3. When we arrived and unpacked, we quickly realized that we had a what looked to be the "Asian style" lady bug infestation. The sink in the bathroom was clogged as well and I'm assuming because the bugs. We would clean the bugs out and in a few hours there would be 10 more in the sink. We attempted to contact management but could only get maintenance. The lady came out and vacuumed up the dead ones but there were many more that crawled in during and after she left. We were told to email management and did so with no response. They would not even leave us a vacuum during our stay to continue vacuuming. We could not stay anywhere else due to it being the week of Christmas and we weren't going to drive...
