Tennessee Mountain View Winery — Attraction in Pigeon Forge

We had spent some time in nearby Gatlinburg, doing some wine tastings there, but I wanted to try this place because it looked like it had some nice views and good variety of wines. We were not disappointed. The gentleman running the tastings was helping several groups at the same time and still managed to be attentive to everyone as much as possible and nobody waited terribly long for service. He was able to make us a cheese board after getting a couple others ready for other groups, and then we sat on the back porch to enjoy the view while eating out snacks and drinking a few glasses of the tasty wine. Some reviews of the place complain about only having fruity wines, but we didn't seem to have a problem finding enough varieties of wines to satisfy all our preferences. They have several wines that are available as dry, semi-sweet, or sweet, in addition to a few that were only sweet. But it was enough to meet all our needs. My husband and I was on our Anniversary trip I called and made reservations for 4 pm on September 30th for wine tasting and we arrived walked in looked around and we sat down the bartender (lady) behind bar then told us we can come around to the bar so we went we was given a paper to mark off the wine that we wanted to taste we did that so as the lady behind the bar came around to pouring the wine she then said to us(the only couple of color in there at this time) hold your hand out I’m going to pour y’all wine in your hand and laugh and I was very pist and was ready to go at that point so we then started being served by a guy that work there after my husband was done I told the guy that we was done and he could pass the cheese board on to someone else he then insisted on us getting something I was still pist at the fact that she thought it was ok to play with the only couple of color in there to that extent I wouldn’t recommend this winery if they allow these types of people to represent...

Mountain View Winery is an absolute five-star experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfectly set against a beautiful backdrop that makes every visit feel special. The staff here truly go above and beyond — every worker I encountered was incredibly nice, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their friendly attitude made me feel welcome right away and added to the overall charm of the place.
