Wears Valley General Store — Local services in Pigeon Forge

Did think this was a pretty cool place until my husband accidentally left his wallet on the counter and we realized it 5 minutes onto the road. We came back immediately and scoured the parking lot AND the area around the counter, but couldn't find it. Then "miraculously" 15 minutes into searching, another person working there "found" the wallet with 200+ dollars missing on the outside of the store where there was a bunch of junk and NO possible foot traffic, not to mention where we had NEVER been to begin with. We were lucky the wallet still had his other documents/ license/debit card in it, but we still ended up canceling the card to be safe. Was it our bad that we left the wallet - absolutely. But SOMEONE in that store stole my husband's money - there were no other patrons there. This ruined the last day of our vacation, and we would have called the cops if we could prove anything, but it would have been a he said/ she said situation since the camera nearest to the cash register was "fake", according to the cashier, and the other cameras were apparently not "pointed" where we needed to see, which is ridiculous (why would the camera closest to your money be fake???). My wife lost her wallet in the parking lot and not even 15 minutes later we realized. We went to the store to ask and luckily they had it but all of the money was taken (190$ worth!) The owner didn't answer any of our questions and said we were lucky! Also realized in the reviews that this is the second time it happened! Don't come here unless you wanna be robbed!

Edit: They even responded, trying to say it wasn't their store. Lol, I talked to you...

It's got a grate place you can by also any animals that you can think of and if you want something that you don't see just ask the man that is double the carving and I will bet you Thai he can get it done for you or I would like to say that he is able to make it himself he is proud of his work and he should be as good as the Man is it's just right for the man to be proud to have created such a sculpture...
