Visited the new casino a while back. It was kind of plain from the outside. Not like the neon signs etc. in Vegas. Huge parking lots around a metal type building. Casino was new and spacious. Went on weekday and it wasn’t very crowded. The prices at the signature restaurants were very high. A little too high for the location and the area. Think they would be better off with lower priced restaurants. Ended up eating at one of their walk up areas that had a steam table to pick from. Had their chicken spaghetti. It was very good and fair priced. Overall a decent experience. The only thing I didn’t care about was the scanning of drivers license to enter. Have noticed others not happy with that. I realize one has to be 21 to enter. But they could verify one’s DOB on front of license, like all do to verify age. I don’t care to give out information that isn’t needed nowadays. Seems most end up sharing it, and we get bombed with solicitation. Am very tired of spam calls, emails, and mail from companies, that buy my information, and annoy. Probably won’t go back if they continue that practice, as my privacy is more important, and there are others to go to that don’t do this. Companies need to realize this, as many are fed up with the annoying calls, emails, and aggressive soliciting…… I Am Very Tired Of It!!!! UPDATE… I recently ask the guy at the door about the scanning of driver’s license to go in. He politely told me it was because on the weekends especially there’s a college there, and some of the students get rowdy, and they have to ask them to leave. And there are others that cause a problem. Once they have to escort them out, they’re not allowed back in. I’ve never seen a problem when visiting, except one time they had a guy outside with a policeman escorting him to his car. That’s a good thing. Also I noticed they have a metal detector you walk through before having your drivers license checked. That tells me they’re concerned about the safety of their customers, and that’s a good thing…. So I’ve updated their star rating, as this guy was the first one to explain why they’re scanning drivers license to enter, and in the beginning, I ask others that didn’t give an explanation. Maybe the saw or heard about my initial review…. Update Noticed the last couple of times visiting that the slots seemed somewhat tighter, (not paying out like they used to)….. I realize that it’s gambling, but one needs to hit every once in a while, to continue playing. It’s not fun for the machines just take your money, with very little payout. I noticed that when I walked around watching others… Lastly I noticed they were building a hotel on the casino grounds. I think I remember seeing it was opening in the...
Read moreCrooks disguised as a casino. if you're a table player. Don't waste your time with this place. Even when you get the winning hand they don't wanna pay. Let me map out the full issues with this casino and it's so called "RULES".
the progressive jackpot on the table games for Texas hold'em, 3 card and Mississippi stud are connected and the main problem is, it's $5. I've been all over the U. S, canada, Cruise ships i've never been told casino that had a five dollar progressive jackpot. Even in Vegas high limit table games Progressive jackpots are still a dollar. However that's not even the worst part of this situation.
in order to be paid for the royal flush Progressive or anything on the Progressive it must be done on the Flop or on three card poker two side specifically designated cards. Now the odds are already in their favor and they are just stacking the deck even more to their side so there's very little enjoyment in playing if you get the big hand but the card was in the "turn" instead of on the flop. It totally devalues the energy and the excitement of getting that big hand. However this still isn't even the worst part about this casino.
3)there's a Envy on the Progressive which means you are envying somebody else who gets a good hand. Recently found out that someone hit the progressive jackpot on Mississippi Stud they weren't playing the $5 Progressive. The rest of the table was but nobody got paid for the hand. Regardless of how much anybody is betting on a bet the hand was being played the Envy is for the hand not for the payout. These sad excuse for a casino called Saracen did not pay anybody Envy on the royal flush on Mississippi Stud. Arkansas Gaming Board should have been called because that is not correct. Envy is for the person getting the hand. The hand was being played on a valid bet regardless of whether they bet the pair Plus or the progressive that does not matter. The Envy is on the hand being dealt to another player and not you. Envy should have been paid the to every other person who is betting in the Progressive. With their ridiculous rules and excuses for trying to opt out of paying people I will never again make the mistake of going to this casino even if I was being paid $1,000.
Save yourself the time and the energy I know it may be close to Central Arkansas but you're better off driving somewhere else that's going to pay you when...
Read moreThree of us drove over two hours to go to this casino for the first time. We arrived at about 6am after leaving home before 4am. Our first observation was that the exterior is industrial looking, very plain. My husband thought it was a school and that we were in the wrong location. When we entered the building we were not acknowledged by the female at the inside entrance. We asked a security officer where to go to get a player’s card. As the Q club desk was closed he directed us to the cashiers cage. There the only female cashier told us she could not make us a card since we had never been there before. Told to wait until 8am and go back up front to the Q club desk. So, we gambled for over an hour with no card. Our goal was to each earn 25 points to be able to play the Thursday only Kiosk Money Tree. Finally, frustrated, my brother (who actually lives 45 minutes from the Tunica Casinos) went back to the same security guard at 7:45 am to ask why he did not know we could not get a players card at the cashier he sent us to. We decided to sit near the Q club area and wait. The guard told us then it would be 45 minutes before they opened. When he saw we were discussing leaving, he called someone in management who said to return to the cashiers cage and they would make us a card. That process was also a frustration as one of the two employees did not seem to know how to proceed and had to keep asking the other one to help her. This meant it took a long time to just get a card. The machines were okay. Many to choose from. Very colorful. Area clean and well maintained as were restrooms. Had two self serve beverage stations. The one near where we played had no carbonation. A man who was getting water said he was at the casino yesterday and all it was putting out was syrup. Finally discovered the other beverage area was working so we finally got a carbonated drink. We were at the casino for 7 hours. ll that time, we were never offered a beverage. In fact, we did not even see anyone offering beverages. No sanitizing wipes available, only hand sanitizer. Do not plan to return here. Will drive to Southland in West Memphis or Tunica casinos where we feel welcome and appreciated. Thank you...
