I was only coming to Pine Bluff for one night for my 60th birthday party and a wedding. My fiance and I knew it would be a rainy weekend so we searched for a hotel with an indoor pool. And on the website it showed Best Western had an indoor heated pool. So we booked the room. Upon arrival to the room.we checked in everything was fine. We walked to look for the indoor pool..there was no pool. So I asked front counter worker Chase where is the indoor pool he said they didnt have one. I explain to him to him that it said it on the website, he asked me to show him; I showed him. He then looked it up on the front desk computer and said it's not saying it on desk computer. I showed him my phone and showed him again it says it. He then took his phone out and looked it up on his phone and found it. He said oh it do say it. By that time Tammy was coming it and he explain to her what the website said and I then asked can I be charged a cheaper rate being that's what I came to the hotel for. Chase told me no because they already upgraded my room to a suite because the room they had me booked for the guest didnt want to check out they wanted to stay sn extra night. But that wasnt my problem so I dont feel like that was an accommodation for my issue. I said ok and left and called cooperate office; which the lady agreed with me and apologized and said she would place me on hold and call the hotel get me a cheaper rate. She came back to the phone and apologized to me and said TAMMY SAID SHE WASNT THERE WHEN I CAME TO FRONT DESK (lied) Tammy said I can check out if I want too but she cant charge a cheaper rate. At this point I'm upset and it was time for us to start getting dressed for our events of the day. I called from desk and ask for the general manager name..TAMMY SAID JP SAID NOT HIS INTIALS BUT REAL NAME. SHE SAID THAT IS HIS REAL NAME. I THEN SAID IS IT J PATEL..SHE QUICKLY SAID OH YEA GENISIS PATEL ( DIDNT THINK I WAS FAMILIAR WITH PATELS IN THE BUSINESS OF HOTELS)( I said is he in she oh no and she didnt know when he would be back in. I said ok I was so upset not to mention the room had crumbs all over the sitting area table as well as the ice bucket still had water and a bag from prior guest. I pick bucket up thinking it was empty water waste on me. The hotel is beautiful and so clean and nice. But the customer service was horrible, and very rude and was just straight lying to me. Read morePLEAS BEWARE!!! I WISHED THAT I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS!!!!!! I hope that I can help someone make a better decision with accommodations in the area. Please do your self a favor and sacrifice the few extra minutes to stay at the Holiday Inn. Let’s start with the up keep. The vents and every corner of the bathroom had dust and dirt. There was food left in the fridge from a previous guest. The water in the bathtub drained very slow. Now let’s go into my bigger issue. I checked in on Friday for one night stay. Then next day I left for breakfast because the breakfast at the hotel was disgusting. 20 minutes before checkout I called to extend only to find out that the hotel “Manager” Charlotte checked me out of my room early. She lied on my complaint and said that the hotel cleaners had went into my room and saw it empty but that was a lie because I still had stuff in there that I had to replace. When I spoke to the general “Manager” he kept cutting me off and lied and said there is a policy that there was a policy that allowed for them to check me out early. Their is no hotel in the world that has a policy like that. If that is the case what is the point of a check out time. He then went on to say that it was fine if I wrote a poor review. That really showed how much he cared about his customer service. They really need to get Charlotte out of there and put Tay back in the management position. Read moreI usually do not rate rooms although most are excellent atleast get the job done. This room was absolutely nasty/disgusting. All jokes aside. Me and my husband spent the first 40 minutes deciding if we wanted to get a refund and find a last minute hotel nearby. Checking for bed bugs etc because upon arrival there was a dead bug smooshed into the ceiling I’m guessing from previous guest which means the room had not been actually cleaned. The lamp on the side of the bed was CAKED with dust to the point it was an entire thick coating. Lamp covers dirty, one of our towels in the bathroom had hair already on it. Hair in tub and I cleaned. Toilet dirty. There’s no way they are actually sanitizing or cleaning these rooms. I was absolute disgusted ti the point I didn’t even eat or go downstairs the next morning to get free breakfast and I LOVE to eat, especially when it’s free but I chose to pay. Upon check out my husband notified an older lady at the front desk about the dead bug on ceiling and I kid you not her reply was “ ohh Mann, well! At least it was dead!” That’s sooo nasty and disgusting. She said they call exterminators weekly or monthly which is a double red flag.
