Legends Restaurant — Restaurant in Arkansas

It our first time visiting Legends. We were concerned that we may have showed up too late it was11:30pm n the website I had found said they closed at midnight. I figured maybe we could get it to go. The person hosting seated us and that was the last time ANYONE paid attention to us. We checked out their menu and waited patiently as everyone who was working there walked by like we were invisible. Two more patrons came in behind us separately and were seated, waited on and one was even packing her meal in a take out tray before we decided to ask what was going on. At this time it was midnight. My husband called over the host (who turned out to be the manager as well) and asked what the reason we haven’t been waited on. Immediately this person went into defense mode and started talking sideways to my husband. Saying things like ‘I’m a grown man’. Being a service manager myself I put myself in his shoes. I explained that everyone walked by us like we weren’t there. Nobody smiled at us or said hello. I understand how it can get busy and stressful but the point is you at least communicate to the guest so they don’t feel neglected. He did wind up offering us a comp meal for our next visit and explained how busy it was. I highly doubt we will be back. It’s hours of travel to have a night at this casino. It’s the first impression we got from this establishment. He treated my husband like some thug on the streets with some beef. I can’t tolerate that. He did try to make it right but never attempted to apologize for the way he responded to my husband. Which would’ve went farther then the comp meal which we...

Our waitress "Nichelle" had us waiting for over 20 mins for our order to be taken. She also did not return promptly with refills, extra napkins or anything we asked for. She seemed frustrated that we were there and she smelled like alcohol as if she had been drinking! One of the most annoying things was her "blaccent". We were shocked that she spoke in a condescending tone with us and used this thick "blaccent" while speaking to us but spoke to her other tables which were a group of Caucasians with socially acceptable verbiage. For instance when someone at my table asked for a refill she said "UHuHHH-AIGHT IS DET ALL YALL WONT!? ILL BE RIGHT BEECCKK!" In a loud and obnoxious tone. As for her other tables she would say "Great, I'll be right back with your refill. Is there anything else I can get for you all?" How she spoke to our table was extremely annoying & quite frankly rude & disrespectful! IF we ever go back to Legends "Nichelle" would be the LAST person we would want...

First we were asked if plastic ware is ok for dining. 🤔 Our server got our order after sitting for 10 minutes, we understood it was busy. We were ready to order, we got our tea but he didn't bring sweet and low, I had to get up and go ask for some. We ordered ribeye steak, still no salad or waiter. Our steaks came with our salad, 🤨, brought to us by a nice young man, not our waiter. We had no silverware, not going to eat steak with plastic. Still no waiter, he never came to ask us if everything was ok, no refill on teas, BTW, he never brought me sweet and low. He talked to every other customers but us. The only time we saw him was when it was time to collect. Btw, We are great tippers just ask other servers there. If we ever go back and he is our waiter we will request another.
