One of the best parks I’ve been to! The recent remodel and additions are incredible. They do a good job of keeping the playground area clean as well. Had my bestie and her son in town from Chicago and he kept asking to go to a park so I took them here and he never wanted to leave! Every time I’ve gone I always meet super friendly people too. I love walking my dog here every morning and watching people play pickleball lol also has so much room for puppers to run around!

Great park for all ages. Many activities to enjoy, it has tennis courts, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, a playground, plenty of walking trails and benches. I'm relatively new to the Pittsburgh area and this was gem of a park find for me. Will continue to enjoy it on a weekly basis to say the least. Would recommend it to anyone looking to go enjoy their day at the park!

Nice play structure, wheelchair accessible. Swing for wheelchair and also special needs swing. Basketball, baseball, benches, picnic table. Many mature trees. City is planning major renovations, start/completion dates unknown.

Took two of my youngest children there and they had such a good time. The new remodel is coming along nice. They loved being able to play in the spray park and then run around the other two little parks to slide, swing, climb, etc. the only downfall is there was a CHILDS birthday party going on while we were there and all they played was grown up music. Every other word was a swear word which is annoying bc I don’t want my kids around that stuff. I thought it was weird that not one children song was played at the CHILDS party. The other final straw for us was when a kid from that party hocked a luggi right on the playground where the kids could have been running around barefoot from playing in the water. I was so disappointed and disgusted that he couldn’t walk the 2 feet to do that in a trash can, or the grass or even on the sidewalk away from the play area. Then he just walked away like that was normal. My kids want to go back so I’m hoping nothing like that is happening next time. It would be a shame to see the park go to shambles just like other parks bc kids and their parents...

Grass needs improvement! The paved paths have needed redone for over 10 years which is ashamed because the bones are good and the history is remarkable and children's area are good.

I want to take a moment to announce that my previous review is being addressed in a MAJOR way. A couple of weeks ago my dog Noodle and I were out for a morning walk, we hadn't been to Arsenal Park since the beginning of winter. As we approached the park I could hear the sound of construction machines, upon reaching the 39th street entrance of the park I could not believe my eyes. The park is undergoing a transformation which will make it one of the very best parks in the city, while what is going on there now looks like a demolition site, a sign posted near the playground shows the site plan with all the improvements that are coming. All I can say is WOW! I can't wait to take notes the next time we stop by so I can share, Kudos City Parks...

Personal Park has been going through metamorphosis the last few years. Once a neighborhood staple. They removed the basketball courts and two of the baseball diamonds. It was replaced with a small playground. There's one baseball diamond left and four tennis courts. The far court needs maintenance. The park now has restrooms and water access. Take note that the mosquitoes are bad and should be accounted for. In the Grove of trees, you'll find a spot to hang a hammock or a set of a picnic blanket. I'm hopeful for the potential and what the future brings for arsenal Park! Please bring back the...
