Two stars because the park is dirty and unkept. The grass doesn't seem to be cut weekly, the trash cans are always over flowing, and the bathrooms don't even have decent signage--one reads Males and the other Girls in sharpie in a piece of paper taped to the door. The spray area is always dirty from bark/mulch and dirt. I wish more thought was put in to location of the water in relation to how dirt would be carried through the area. It would be nice if public works could dust off the park a few times a week. Also the merry-go-round doesn't spin the way it should. On a positive there is lots of parking, it's in the bus line, it's near lots of shops, and I love seeing lots of kids out and about...
Read moreNo complaints really. The experience was great. I was there for the juneeenth event. I attended Friday-Sunday (everyday I was at the park). My only complaint was the restroom. I still gave a 4 star because for it to be 1000s of people there and the couple.tikes I went to the restroom it was only disgusting/filthy one time. My suggestion would be a park staff frequent the bathroom. Every 2 hours or so to be sure that there is toilet paper, cleanliness, and working stalls. One of the days we were there it was blood on the floor, no tissue, only 1 working stalls out of 3 stalls. Luckily I had napkins in my purse and I was able to use the 1 working stall.that did not have blood or.any other feces...
Read moreMellon Spray Park is a fun place to cool off during the summer. Most machine provides a constant spray of mist that kids love and adults can cool in the summer heat! The spray section has two water sprays that come up from the ground and then suddenly stop to keep you guessing!! The best part is the bucket water drop. Buckets fill with water and when full drop a splash of water on whoever is standing under them. The problem is you never know which bucket will fill first, your guess is as good as mine. Overall a great park for kids with a picnic area for adults. There are also basketball courts and softball fields as well. Parking is tricky so it’s best to park on Beachwood Blvd and walk over on...
