My favorite theater at the moment.
Great reclining seats. Very clean. And the people working there are nice.
And I love that they actually take care of it and do repairs, one time the lock on a bathroom door was broken, and I went back a week later and it was fixed. One of the screens showing what number the theater is was broke, I came back a week later, and saw them installing new bigger, brighter screens.
And it's cool that the bathrooms have signs with random quotes. It's a really small thing, but it just shows that they actually care.
The price of the food is basically average. Penn Hills theater food is cheaper, but AMC at the waterfront is more expensive; Waterworks food prices are right in the middle.
The only problem is there's no huge IMAX screens, but other than that there's nothing to complain about.

Read moreWent to see the movie âkinâ with my mom and when we arrived the ticket stand was closed and a sign said to purchase tickets at the concession stand where there was only two workers who both were already working with other families and there were two more families waiting in line ahead of us. The one worker was waiting on a woman with 5 kids and was arguing about there ages and how she wanted one of them to be free because she would be sitting on her lap. Needless to say they took so long that by the time we reached the front the previews for our movie were over and the movie had started. The workers not only had to take the orders but they had to fill them too. They definitely should have had more than two people behind the counter and had the ticket stand open for people who only needed tickets. I am very disappointed in this interaction. We talked to a manager and their solution was free popcorn. 1 Why would I want to wait for popcorn when the movie already started 2 why would I pay to see a movie that already started. I wouldnât. So now thanks to the poor planning of the theatres management not having enough employees and not having them in the correct areas they wasted my gas and my time. If you canât staff your establishment maybe you...
Read moreUpdate: this theater passed its reinspection in all areas, not just pest remediation, so I changed my rating to a 4/5. As you can see the business responded to my initial post and commented back with the reinspection report. They also responded to someone else's comment that they're redoing the upholstery on the recliners. My husband and I will return the next time we want to see a movie, and I will keep an eye out for next year's inspection report. Fingers crossed, I will give it 5 stars once it passes in 2025. I really, really hope the theater maintains its current cleanliness because we really do like this theater!!!
My husband and I drive out of our way to go to this theater because of the recliners and reasonable prices. We've been going here for over 5 years and love it. Unfortunately a recent health inspection uncovered many violations including dead rodents and droppings. I will update this review after reinspection 1/5/24.
Original and reinspection...
