I made a reservation for a group of 6 of us for dinner on Friday, July 1 at 7:30. We were seated on time which was good but that was the only good thing about this place. Our server was rude and when you would say thank you or anything she just looked at you. She brought our drinks and when placing on the table spilled it over the side of the glass on four drinks, she basically threw our soup and salad bowls at us when placing them on the table, one person in our group had dropped their fork and had to ask several times for a replacement, we had to ask several times for napkins as he our server just didn't bring them, our cook made us wait for more yum yum sauce until he cleaned the grill when we asked while he was still cooking and he kept telling us to wait. We asked for the manager and Kevin came to our table. We told him everything that was wrong and he more or less dismissed us and told us to enjoy our meal and walked away. I called the next day and he was the manager again and I explained that I would like to speak to his supervisor as he was the person last night that dismissed us and was very unprofessional and he asked if I would like the telephone for him and I told him yes. He asked me if I was the person from the party of 6 and I said yes, he then proceeded to tell me that they have cameras and that he went to review it and that everything I told him last night was a lie as his server did nothing wrong with the water and I told him I never said one thing about water and asked for the number. He then informed me that he told me the wrong thing and that he couldn't give me the number for his supervisor as he wasn't allowed to do that. I said oh you offered and now your not allowed. He said that I could call his manager Adam but that he was out of town and wouldn't return for two weeks. I asked that there is no one else I could talk to and he said that I could call another general manager a another location. He gave me that number and I called and spoke to Jason who was to look into the matter and get back to me. He hasn't done that as of yet but I will be calling the corporate office on Tuesday as this being the holiday weekend. I gave one star as that was the lowest but they deserve none. Kevin is very unprofessional and shouldn't be allowed to be in that position at all. I would recommend you don't go to this...
Read moreOn 6/16/19 @ 1pm we took my 2 elderly relatives to dine. They never been here before seeing the menu selection for the first time, lets say, they were quite overwhelmed. Having to explain the Hibachi vs the Kitchen selection, added to the chaos of deciding what to select. I even tried to prepare them by showing the menu on the way to the restraunt. Which obviously didn't help much. As soon as you are seated they slap down the plates and throw you a menu. Then within minutes: ARE YOU READY TO ORDER. No we were not.
The hostess (who was very sweet) came back the 2nd time. 2 of us ordered but my aunts were still deciding... plus I think they were worried about the price and I kept telling them not to worry about it just pick something.
Well next thing I know some 40ish woman who was working the BAR comes over and rudely says "if you dont order now we have to move you to the other room - people are waiting to eat"
So this restraunt who makes you sit with another set of strangers (they were there and already seated before us WHICH IS NOT OUR FAULT) ALSO - tells you how many minutes you have to decide on what you want to spend your 100+ $ on. HONESTLY - all this was in 10 min time frame since we walked in.
The hostess herself was appalled and overly apologetic. I felt bad for her. You could see in her face how embarrassing this was for her.
This is not a pleasant dining experience. This is a "haul them in and get their money and get them out fast" type of place. How they treated my aunts was unacceptableLike many around their 80's they are showing some signs of senility and need a little patience. This woman probably feels, "well leave them at home to rot"
I can find better ways to...
Read moreWe had a party of 11 including teens, young adults, parents and grandparents. The hibachi preparation was an enjoyable performance, but the food was outstanding. The clear soup was so flavorful, and the crispy salad with ginger dressing was refreshing and light. Of course, we each had different protein options for the main dish. I had salmon which was crisp on the outside and cooked just right on the inside - not an easy feat when preparing food for 11 people. Every meal includes 2 shrimp (so I got to enjoy those from the kids' who don't care for shrimp!). Whether ordering chicken, shrimp, scallops, steak, or combinations, everyone enjoyed their meals. Servings of fried rice and noodles (lo mein style) were huge and delicious, but I thoroughly enjoyed the hibachi vegetables - zucchini, mushrooms, broccoli, and onions. We all had leftovers which were enjoyed again the next day!
I've been to other hibachi restaurants where the food was prepared in a similar fashion, but the quality, taste,, and quantity here are superior.
It is not a place that a large family would frequent weekly, but this was a great special or occasional indulgence. Will...
