Took the family to Monument park for the annual ice sculpture event. I would high recommend visiting. It was awesome to see all the different designs and take pictures of our favorite. We then ate at one of the local restaurants in town. Great event to draw in people to support local businesses.

Small park, but nice spot to sit while you're eating ice cream (Dairy Queen is across the street). Very busy when local events like Dexter Daze or Apple Daze are going on... but that's not a bad thing by any means!

Small park, but nice spot to sit while you're eating ice cream (Dairy Queen is across the street). Very busy when local events like Dexter Daze or Apple Daze are going on... but that's not a bad thing by any means!

Commenting on Dexter Ice Fest 2023 - it's a growing tradition with a big increase in the number of sculptures and the number of visitors this year. Lots of well behaved dogs came too!

Ice carving demonstrations were ongoing all day on Saturday, which was really cool to watch.

Hot chocolate was available in the gazebo for the morning on Saturday. (No restrooms were available in the park, but the local restaurants are usually reasonable about letting at least the children...
