Took the family to Monument park for the annual ice sculpture event. I would high recommend visiting. It was awesome to see all the different designs and take pictures of our favorite. We then ate at one of the local restaurants in town. Great event to draw in people to support local businesses.

I really enjoyed walking around and looking at all these ice sculptures. A lot of time and talent to carve these. These posted are just my favorites. There were more, and as of yesterday and till the melt, are still on display in Dexter Monument Park.

Commenting on Dexter Ice Fest 2023 - it's a growing tradition with a big increase in the number of sculptures and the number of visitors this year. Lots of well behaved dogs came too!

Ice carving demonstrations were ongoing all day on Saturday, which was really cool to watch.

Hot chocolate was available in the gazebo for the morning on Saturday. (No restrooms were available in the park, but the local restaurants are usually reasonable about letting at least the children...
