Witching Hour — Local services in Dexter

I waited for almost a year to get on Alissa's books. I followed her on insta and finally got in back in Dec. she did an amazing flower and i couldn't have been happier. I did have some trouble healing but this was my first color tattoo and possibly had a reaction to the derma-skin band-aide thing, but by mid January it was looking great. Alissa was there answering questions and helping me thru the entire healing process, she even reached out after while to make sure it was going well. It is now middle of Feb and I am posting this late because life happens. I love the amount of detail and the colors just pop. Alissa worked quick and made me comfortable throughout out the process. Very unaccommodating, heard about them being open for walk ins… I’ve never gotten a tattoo before, but have a bunch of ideas I wanted to atleast talk about, maybe make an appointment, and hopefully look through some flash and get something small. I walked in the door first thing at 11 and was basically just told to go away because I didn’t have an appointment, and nobody has their flash book open currently…. Not really sure why you would advertise it as “walk ins first come first serve” because I walked in first and was definitely not served. It seemed like nobody wanted to even talk to me I was just told to try and connect with one of the artists through instagram or the internet. Seemed very weird, almost like they didn’t want...

I had the best experience today at Witching Hour. I expected nothing less knowing the artists that work there, but Krista really nailed it. I gave her a complicated design, asked her how (if possible) to fit it to a spot and she did a phenomenal job not only making it work size-wise, but helping me with placement (which I should have had completely figured out) but making it perfect in every way. She took the time to make sure it was up to our liking, hers and mine. She was accommodating in every way the whole time, and the prices were so reasonable.
