CTS Home Appliance Center — Attraction in Placentia

So I buy a $2100 cooktop from these folks. Misunderstanding a phone call a few days ago I went down to find out the delivery status. Turns out it was there so I took it home.

When I purchased the unit, Scott gave me the name and number of the person (only one) who installs cooktops and other things. I initially arranged to have him come out on the 13th (weds) but later realized that I was traveling then and we agreed he would come out the Monday before. I then received a call from him telling me he had an appointment then and wanted to come earlier (a Saturday). So Saturday comes around and the people refinishing the cabinets are not done. He shows up, not happy with the environment and tells me he will come back later in the day to do the job when they are done. 5:30pm rolls around and he is a now show. He does not call either. I call him, he first wants to make sure that the cabinet folks were done (they finished by noon) and then tells me that he can come out Wednesday - they day I told him we were travel. Round and round I go with this clown and he is unwilling to tell me he can't install but I should hope he gets a cancellation.

This is how a customer who buys a $2100 including tax cooktop gets treated.

I guess if you are a contractor, CTS is the place for you. FORGET THEIR INSTALLERS SINCE THEY ARE WORTHLESS.

I then spent 5 minutes and found someone else who wanted the job.

Scott Shepherd and his team at CTS were great to deal with. We worked with them during a recent kitchen remodel. Scott spent a great deal of time with us reviewing our designs and helping us select the perfect set of appliances for our kitchen. His delivery and installation team was professional and did a great job as well. As minor issues arose during the project, as they always do, Scott was quick to help us out. He even had his delivery crew swing by to pick up our empty boxes after the appliances were installed. At the beginning of this project, we went to Pacific Sales to do a comparison, and as soon as the sales person realized that we were not looking to make a purchase that day, he literally walked away and ignored us. CTS has been very good to us. The selection (of high quality home appliances) is excellent and the service is great too. Since CTS is a family owned business (in Placentia), the staff are like members of a big family and treat their customers like members of an extended family network. CTS has gone out of their way to help us out, including holding off on delivering our stove and vent hood (for months) until we finished the renovations on our kitchen.
