Q-Tortas — Restaurant in Placentia

I don’t normally spend time writing reviews, but I feel like I had to for this restaurant. I seriously do not know how it has such favorable reviews when it is honestly been one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. I came across it on google while in the area and decided to try out their carne asada torta. I paid extra to add cheese, because I was told it only came with meat and refried beans which were canned beans by the way. So 10 minutes later, I got my torta with pieces of cheddar cheese, similar to the cheese at Taco Bell uses along with a boatload of minced up pieces of steak with the beans spread on the bread. Ate about half of it and threw the rest away, I totally feel ripped off and will not be...

I have been a customer for 40 yrs .I can only speak of my experience in Quality, taste, and freshness. the homey taste has never changed, never!!!!!!! the Signature pico de gallo is just that,there Original in everything!!! from tortas to my favorite, the carnitas burrito, added cheese, sour cream and Piping hot French fries please don't bother meeee, this family owned and authentic hole in the wall is just that,a Gem of originality and a hard working family that strives to serve Quality ,freshness and they deliver there excellent taste .Maria and her mother and family committed for everyday authentic delicious food ,Los querro un chingo,love you Q tortas...

My first visit here and it was not bad at all. I had ordered the asada torta along with two chicharon tacos and a coke; which came out to under $12.

The torta itself was surprisingly good, the asada wasn’t the best though. Regardless, overall it filled me up well.

The tacos had a sauce that was a bit more spicy than I am used to, my tolerance is not too high when it comes to heat; but I know not to have that sauce on there for the next time.

Will try it again, as it is very close to my work.
