I took my computer to this place because I tried to build it but something went wrong so i took it to this place because I saw some good reviews from google and yelp. I took it in with a box full of my old parts that i was trying to replace and they said they will take a look at it and call me within a few days to see what they can do. 3 days go by and they did not call me so I called them and they said that the main part of the computer is defected or broken so they said they will try to work on the old one and then I called a few more days later and they never called me, I had to call them to ask what the status was for my computer. So I did call them and they said they are still working on it because both my new parts and old parts do not work with my computer when trying to turn it on. I became really furious and called a few days later and they had said it is almost done and they ordered a new part and had said they will not charge me for it and when I had asked when it will be ready and they said by the next day and so i called the next day and they said it is ready so I went to go pick it up and they told me it works with the old parts they reinstalled and you have to turn it on by pressing the RESET button. I got really confused when they said because they told me something so differently. I had told them what they said and they denied everything. they charged me $125 for the repair. They didn't even do anything really significant that makes it worth that much to fix it. they just reinstalled the old parts and that was it. No new part was ordered or installed. if anything, they made it slower and made it more frustrating to work around school work and its not good. This was the worse service I could ever get when hearing all the supposedly good reviews that you see. Do NOT always believe what you read on the internet and save yourself the time and effort and skip this place, it's...
Read moreI went in to get a MacBook keycap replaced. Absolute worst. The person there tried to charge $100-$200 to replace the entire keyboard and claimed that "internal connections are damaged" and "needed to be replaced". Basically told me they'd have to gut the keyboard. I insisted that I just needed a keycap fix, but he kept insisting that it was connections. At this point, I knew he was charging me far more than what he should've, so I left. Got a keycap replacement kit on amazon for 12 bucks and replaced the key easily for a fraction of what they were charging. All of this suggests to me that either guy there didn't know at all what he was talking about or he was trying to scam me. If you must go here, make sure you're fairly tech savvy to make sure this doesn't happen. I've had pleasant experiences here with an older gentleman, but one of the younger ones is just terribly misinformed,...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at this store. When I went in to get my iPhone screen repaired, Luis and Angel assisted me. They charged $150 for the repair and promised they would buy the device for $350 once I had taken a backup. However, when I returned a week later ready to sell the phone, they denied ever making such a promise. I felt completely misled and scammed. I would never have agreed to the screen repair if it weren't for the supposed $350 buyback deal. Potential customers should be aware that this store does not honor its commitments. Avoid them at any...
