L & D Nail Salon — Attraction in Plainview

I’ve been coming to this place for 12 years now. David and Wendy have done an awesome job. I love that they are family oriented and have some beautiful children. They recently remodeled and it looks awesome. The staff are great, it’s a very calming atmosphere, and if they get too busy, they call others in to take care of their customers. They do great work on nails, nail art, pedicures, waxing, facial treatment, and also have hair stylist. They just need massage. Hint hint David. Lol. Every time I have gone I have been satisfied. They have always provided great customer service and have a rewards program. Why do think I’ve been going so long. I’ve read over these reviews and I want to say I have not had any such things happen to me, as well as, why would anyone try to walk in for any service, that was not an appointment, at 7:35pm knowing they close at 8? I went and got a perm on 10/21/2017 at this salon. If you could see my end results, you would think I asked for a relaxer. I paid $110 for the perm and $15 for the haircut. I am not satisfied and I asked for a refund of the perm amount and was offered only $28 in certificates for their salon. I worked really hard for my money, as I am a full time student at Wayland, a working mom to 5 kids and have to pay a mortgage, bills and a vehicle payment. I could not even afford the perm, but decided to get the perm to save me time in the morning for assignments and getting my kids ready for school. These people have no sympathy are not wiling to see reason. There is no satisfaction guarantee, there is a no refund policy and I will never return. To top it all off, I was treated as if I committed a criminal act asking for my money back. I have never been treated so rudely and felt as if I have been robbed. NEVER...

I bought my daughter a gift card to get her nails done for christmas. This was the first time she had ever had her nails done. When I picked her up from her appointment she was so upset. Her nails were uneven there was glue and acrylic under her nails that were huge. The colors she picked were not the same as what ended up on her fingers. She had a few actual designs in mind but the nail tech never asked her and her being a 16 yr old girl she didnt know what to say.
