I've been coming to this park since I was little and have always loved it. One thing I can't figure out is why the two main playgrounds haven't been upgraded yet? 🤔 They've seriously been there since I was a kid and I'm 26 now...the main playgrounds are missing pieces, are rusted completely through, are missing slides, and have plywood covering damaged spots. With the amount of people that are moving to Plant City you think whoever is in charge of playgrounds would invest a little more money in them. Not to mention none of the playgrounds are geared towards kids younger than 6 or 7...it's sad that I have to drive my daughter out to Lakeland if I want her to experience a nice, well-kept playground when I live less than 5 minutes from...

Let me start by stating that I live directly across from this park. We see the park at night, during the day, when it rains, and when it shines. We LOVE this place. The people in charge of keeping the park up are exceptional, and they are great about closing the area up when it rains as to not damage the facilities or fields. It is an exceptional place to exercise, get some air, walk the dogs, play sports, people watch, or even just to stop by and watch some of the games/activities that take place. I love living so close—my wife, niece, and I use the park at least a couple times a week. It’s so nice having a clean, family-friendly park right...

Mike E. Sansone Park is a hidden gem in Plant City! It’s a beautiful, well-maintained park that offers something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a peaceful walk under the shade of tall trees, let your kids play on the playground, or have a family picnic, this park is a great choice.

The baseball fields are in great condition, and there's plenty of open space for walking or relaxing. The restrooms are clean, and there's ample parking. I also love how quiet and safe the park feels — perfect for a quick escape into nature or some family fun.

Highly recommend for locals and...

Took my twin grandchildren here to exert some energy. The play ground is in need of better attention lots of trash laying about. The equipment is in shabby condition could use some TLC. The ball fields here look well manicured. The skatepark and the volleyball areas looks nice. There was quite a few city employees Meandering about the Park area cutting grass blowing leaves around. They had a few that were putting down the baseball lines. If they took better care of the playground as they take care of the baseball fields this would be an Immaculate area to bring the children to play.

Super nice dog park! Just moved to the area and used for the first time. Divided in to big and little dog parks, water station for humans and dogs, some shade under a tree, stocked poop bags/trash cans. Wish there was a hose station and that maybe the fence was slightly taller but that’s just nitpicking. There could also be more shade but we typically come in the evening anyway. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing, this was the first time that I've been there. We walked the trail then went in the pavilion while the kids played in the park. We packed a small lunch and enjoyed our day. It's wide and open with plenty of parking . If your looking for something relaxing and fun for the kids I would definitely chose Mike E Sansone park .
