Rodgers-Smith Park — Attraction in Pleasant Hill

Cool park for family events in a very nice and peaceful neighborhood. It’s calm with many fun things to do for kids and adults . It had bbq pits for a good nice it’s has kids playground and a place to play horse shoes with your buddies . That’s even a Bottle opener and a bench to sit or eat some snacks on and a full basketball court to challenge or get your skills up! They have public bathrooms in an old school setting with water acces and napkins. For Pet Lovers their is trash bags at the entrance of the trails to be able to pick up your pets droppings and garbage bins to throw away your garbage...

LOTS of fun for a variety of ages & skill levels, although it is not an adaptive playground, meaning no ramps or specialized swings. There is a good size play structure, swinging hand grips in a monkey bars style & spinning hoops to swing between, plus a large sand pit area. It has an attached baseball field, bocce ball courts, basketball or volleyball area, big reservable picnic area, good parking lot, public restroom & space to walk, scooter, bike or push strollers...

First time at this park. Let's of shade and seating, enough to be socially distanced. Playground is good for toddlers to older kids. Slides are tall and fun. Sand box is good too. Sand could be cleaned out from the sticks and such but perfect for kids. No baby swings. Bathrooms onsite right next to the table area and playground.
