Gymboree Play & Music, Pleasanton — Attraction in Pleasanton

Gymboree has been a blessing to our family! We started taking our son at 7 months, he turns 1 tomorrow and I honestly wish we had gone sooner as they do offer classes for all ages. He is our first born so it was pretty much just him and I every day. Unfortunately like most he was missing out on interacting with his peers and that's something that was very important for my husband and I. He also wouldn't give any adults the time of day whether they were family or close friends he didn't want anybody else to hold him but me and his daddy if mommy wasn't free.  His very first visit at Gymboree I noticed a difference in him, his social skills just increased as we hoped they would. The joy and excitement in him to be able to roam free safely and not have Mommy telling him no every 5 minutes was very rewarding for me as a parent. Also being able to interact with other kids/adults is definitely what we wanted for him. Ms. Heather the owner of Gymboree is super sweet, helpful and OCD about cleanliness. On numerous occasions I've seen her vacuuming, mopping and cleaning. Being an OCD Mom myself that was something I definitely took notice to and appreciated. Of course no parent wants their kids getting sick. Although you can't control other parents bringing their kids to play places when their child is sick, it definitely brings peace of mind knowing that the facility puts their best efforts forward to protect your child from getting sick. Her staff is amazing (really)! I guess you have to be when you sing and play with kids all day long. My son's favorite teacher is Ms. Amanda, he adores her and so do I. She is so sweet and is always available to answer questions. Even when we first started attending she would take the time to interact with our son, I think that's why he fell for her! ;) Gymboree did offer a free class so that we can try it out before we decided to sign up and I can't say it enough, signing up with Gymboree was the best decision that we made for our baby. It's not always easy to find a fun/safe facility for your kids to play plus one that also has great staff. We have definitely found it. Heather and the staff are AMAZING!!! We have taken our 15 month old baby there for the past 2 months and her growth has gone off the charts! Since covid hit it’s been hard to have play dates. The health protocols here are very through, we feel safe and taken care of before we get in the door, during play time & after! We are always greeted by name as we get tempture checked and hands sanitized. The teachers we have had during our time are outstanding! Miss Alia is very spunky, fun and makes every kid feel like they are the only ones in the room. Her warm smile and hello puts the kids at ease when they enter like there going to an old friends house for playtime. Miss Jenna is always supportive of every kids activity and asks great questions to the child to get them thinking. It always warms my heart that she always asks each child how their day was and a personal question that shows she remembers the child from week to week. Miss Inez always helps the kids explore parts of the gym play structures that they may be afraid off or unsure and helps them conquer that fear and instill more confidence. In the time our girl has been going she has really blossomed socially, gained new confidence, learned more about sharing and has had a fun, entertaining time doing it. Absolutely love Gymboree Play & Music in Pleasanton! From the moment we walk in, we always feel welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. The facility is clean, bright, and perfectly designed for young children to explore, learn, and have fun.

The instructors are amazing—patient, enthusiastic, and genuinely caring about each child's development. They make every class engaging with a variety of activities that keep the kids excited and eager to participate.
