I apologize that this review is two years late (whoops), but better late than never, I suppose. I was prompted to write this because I just made an appointment to have a tuxedo made, and I remembered I hadn't actually written a review for the last time I was a customer here.

Anyway, I can't speak highly enough of Manno Clothing. I was no stranger to regularly dressing formally, but I finally hit an age where my friends started getting married, and it was time for me to buy a proper suit for weddings and similar occasions. Now, sure, I could've easily hit up some big box store and gotten a quick, cheap suit with some basic alterations that might fit okay, but it's not the same as a properly tailored suit, which is absolutely an investment that's worth the cost.

I forget exactly who helped me (I want to say Anthony?), but whoever it was, he made the entire process incredibly smooth and explained everything as he went. He even ordered some extra jacket liner fabric and made a tie and pocket square out of them, free of charge. (He threw in a pair of fun socks too!) I went in at least once for an array of measurements and to choose from a dizzying selection of fabrics, all of which look quite similar, but each with its own unique charm that made it difficult to decide. Fortunately, Anthony helped whittle it down to just a few choices.

The suit itself was union-made in Canada, and had final alterations done by Manno's capable tailors. It's a lovely charcoal wool, with just a slight break in the leg. I'm typically used to seeing the incredibly slim-cut pieces you find at places like Express, and I was a bit hesitant at first to go with a more classic cut, but I'm happy to say I was wrong, because the suit looks timeless. I forget if a custom shirt was included, but I ended up having one made as well, which had the same level of quality and attention to detail.

I feel like a million bucks in this suit, and I couldn't be happier with the end result. In fact, as I said, I'm so happy that I'm going back next week for a tuxedo. If you're still searching for a tailor, stop right now, because...

The best clothing shopping experience we have ever had, hands down. I was searching for a good place to get some suits made for my husband while we were in Michigan and I found this place. We didn't want a big box store or a place with the American Bespoke price tag. We live in Alaska and my husband needed more suits for work so it was important that I found a good place prior to my husband getting to town because our time is limited. Once I talked to Pat over the phone and watched their youtube video, I knew this was legitimate.

We didn't have an appointment on our first visit, but we came first thing in the morning and Anthony was fortunately available to help us. He listened to us and our likes and we pretty much fell in love with everything he brought us. I was shocked at Anthony's ability to coordinate outfits and his eye for colors. He brought us items we didn't even know we wanted. My husband and I are quite particular in what we like and we don't often find clothing we like. I felt like I was in a dream, I didn't even know this type of clothing experience was possible, we didn't have to search, we just told Anthony what we liked and he just brought us these beautiful garments for my husband to try on.

We ended up choosing two suits and two sport coat outfits and they got them tailored within a few days. We had also been on the search for lace less shoes with good rubber soles because my husband doesn't like the way his dress boots bunch at the bottom but he also needs a workable shoe. When we came to pick up the tailored suits, Anthony was wearing these beautiful shoes that he ended up ordering in for us.

My husband and I were treated great and we also had our two small children (2 & 4). Fortunately they had snacks for the kids and they stayed occupied.

My husband has told me how much fun this clothing experience was and we are so excited to have these suits. My husband feels like he has a place now. The selection, the decor and ambiance and competent staff just made for such a lovely experience.

They have a great selection of colors and prints and know what looks best. You are working with generations of Italian tailors who you just cannot compare. Whether you have a family or business event, you can pull out this suit perfectly fit for you for years and years to come and be glad that you have it. Shirts and pants off the rack are either too long or baggy in certain places. You will look like you have lost 10lbs when your clothes fit you properly. The entire shop of stylists and tailors are so kind, knowledgeable, relaxed, and are at your service. Offering coffee and wine while you chat, it’s worth a stop and you’ll leave looking like a new person. Styling for weddings is the most brilliant idea - ditch the overpriced rentals and go with a clean fitted look for your wedding party that you can use again for events, holidays, future weddings, you name it. Girls- come here for your perfect look too!
