Dairy-Go-Round has always been my kids favorite place to go for ice cream! They get that, get to ride to the horses and just have fum being a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old girl. Today my 4 year old son was told by an employee that there was no public restrooms when he had to pee real bad, and we had to walk quite a far way away for him to use it. I was not to impressed with spendin $10 on ice cream and then throwing another $5 for a tip to be told that, while I was there as the only parent and had to pack up 2 kids with their ice cream to go walk on a journey for a restroom but rules are rules I guess. After we came back my daughter fell and scrapped up her knees pretty bad. The manager, Carolyn, came out super concerned and helped my daughter out with such care and sympathy and even offered both my kids a free cone after because she felt soo bad about how hard my daughter was crying. I then told her about the no public restroom rule and she said to just come get her and ask next time. About 10 mins later my daughter had to potty and Carolyn allowed her in. I tipped another couple buck because her caring and actions made up for the restroom inconvenience. I recommend coming here and will continue to do so in the future for sure! It all started fine untill the woman told me their “mud” was a flurry and i thought that sounded good - it’s 8 dollars for a medium mud that has little to no toppings on it maybe some drizzle if your lucky. It came out incredibly watery and we were told “that’s just how it is” i’m not paying $8 for milk and chocolate so I then asked for an exchange because it was absolutely insanely melted and she would not - she gave us a s’mores one (we paid for separately) with almost no toppings and we had to have that remade too again due to melting and no toppings, so then I just asked for a refund she didn’t want to do it but I kept asking untill she said she’d have to take it back witch i was fine with giving her back the milk and chocolate because it’s just not what I ordered. I felt that whole situation could have been avoided if they were just understanding and kind but instead they were quick to judge and very rude!! I hate being this kinda person and I hate giving food back but If you can’t provide what is ordered you cannot get upset when someone asks for a refund normally I would have more patience but the whole...

And gave me a dirty look when i stammered, out of confusion, and made me so embarrassed for studdering that i couldn't get the corage to ask if she just telepathicly knew what ice cream i wanted.... Anyways, ended up with the wrong thing, and when i just asked for my money back, they wouldnt let me, and kept me there for 5 minutes while i had to explain that i didnt want to continue my business there. Finally got my 5 dollars cash back, and was able to leave after almost making a scene near the little children...
And this was all after i had to wait 5 minutes before i could see anyone inside to get their attention, to order.
After a customer says they want to take their business elsewhere, the manager shouldn't then harras them in front of other customers, and make me explain the rudeness of your employee, while explaining that i was so embarrassed that i couldn't confirm if my order was correct.
