Big Screen Escapes - Tannersville — Attraction in Pocono Township

The Escape Like It's 99 room was solid -- not too easy but also not too challenging for a group of 2 people. We escaped in about 50 minutes without using any hints. The Solitude room (in the Mt. Pocono location) was more challenging, but this was still fun!

The company overall is very nice, professional, and organized. Their escape rooms are old-fashioned escape rooms with nothing flashy, but they all have nice cohesive storylines and their puzzles tie into the story well. They go over all the lock mechanics and basic rules of their rooms beforehand, so the overall experience was straightforward and seamless.

I love that they take a group photo for you afterwards and also a polaroid! I also thought it was really nice of the worker to allow us to finish the room even after our 60 minutes was up because there was no reservation after ours.

Wow, what an incredible experience! My team and I had an absolute blast at Big screen escapes. The theming was immersive, the puzzles were clever and challenging.

From the moment we walked in, we were transported to a world of mystery and intrigue. The room was very well designed, with every detail carefully considered to create an authentic and thrilling atmosphere. The puzzles were perfectly balanced - tricky enough to be satisfying, but not so difficult that we got frustrated. The hints were subtle but helpful, and the game master was super nice and always available to nudge us in the right direction. My 14 year old son LOVES Escape rooms (and is way better than me at figuring them out). We have been trying out the different rooms at Big Screen Escapes over the past few months and recently completed Solitude at their Tannersville location. Every time we go to check out a new room, we have a blast! The staff are awesome, the rooms are tough but not impossible, you get 3 clues (which really helps), and they even have cool merch that you can buy. I would highly recommend Big Screen Escapes if you are in the area and looking for something fun to do, whether you have two people or a group, it's guaranteed to be a good time.
