The best park in the area! Lots of shade so the kids and parents stay nice and cool while playing. Picnic tables scattered throughout the area for anyone to use. Pavilions are for reserved use only. (I have rented a pavilion for birthday parties and you get the pavilion for the entire day.) Bathrooms centrally located for easy access, though I wish we could work on updating them.. maybe a conversation for a Township meeting. Several different playground sets for various abilities (and disabilities) and age levels. They are constantly updating, for example as of July 2019 they added a parent and baby swing. There are: a sand volleyball court, baseball fields, basketball courts, hiking trails, tennis courts, soccer fields, horseshoe pits, etc. The staff do an excellent job and the park is clean and well-maintained. If you rent a pavilion, they are helpful in collecting trash when they get full and checking in on you if you need assistance.

This is probably the largest most inclusive playground I have ever been to. The playground itself is on a grade... but each area is sort of themed and offers different adventures. This is not swings-slides-seasaws. This is swings-slides-seasaws-ninja course-tree houses - and more. To say this is a fun park is an understatement. This park is fully shaded with an open and accessible bathroom in the center. Each section has something for any kid, who is at any physical level or ability. You can start at the top and work your way down, or go right in the middle and stay in a single section. There is plenty of parking. And you can see from one area to the next, if your kids are at different ages and abilities and want to explore independently. I loved this park.

One of the best playground we've been to. My toddler enjoyed it so much, especially all the climbing spots. It was widespread with several different styles play areas. Some features looked inclusive of physical disabilities and wheelchair use. Landscaping was maintained well enough for a public space with ample garbage bins. Lots of little areas for pretend play or very energetic play. Picnic pavilion looked nice and large. There were plenty of benches, grassy areas, and shade! Will definitely come back next time we're in the area.

We had my son’s birthday party there over the weekend and I have to say I was disappointed. We have been to the park many times over the past couple of years and this was the second event I have hosted there. We rented pavilion 3 for the extra large pavilion and closeness to the bathrooms. The stage had a hole in it which made it a hazard to use, only one light inside worked which made it super inconvenient considering it was a darker day, we arrived at 11am the the bathrooms were already disgusting. Water all over the floors, one toilet clogged, sink falling apart, and no soap. Some of my guests refused to use the bathroom because of how dirty they were. In past events someone came around to empty garbage and check in with us. This year someone didn’t come around until the party was almost over. I’ve recommended the park for future events such as a work party we have coming up and I’m embarrassed that a vouched for this location after having such a bad experience. It’s such a beautiful park and they continue to add new features for the kids but having one bathroom with 2 women’s stalls and one men’s, you need to do better about keeping them clean and...

The best park in the Northeast tri-state area. I grew up going to this park as a little boy and now it has become the park where I take my children every weekend. Very well-manicured and clean ample parking for all. All of the amenities are new and very well caps. Years ago they put in in ADA accessible park for all children called Crossings Abilities! Pocono Township is very blessed to have such an amazing Park and Recreation board every year they invest in the infrastructure of the park, the facilities, the baseball field, tennis courts, basketball courts... You name it they have it. Last year they built Pocono Heritage Center which is a beautiful Museum highlighting all of the history that Pocono is so enriched with, they're always changing the exhibits and offer amazing tours. Very proud that a park of this caliber is in...
