It is ok. NY'ers (who live in and love PA)such as myself can get used to ordering at a counter then go sit down or just take to go. We need a friggin sign to tell us "order here!" I have been waiting for a place to grab a breakfast special (bacon, egg, cheese on a roll even though people in PA don't know "breakfast special" which comes with coffee OR "regular coffee" means to us but then again NYC people turned the state democrat which is worse than chernobil for any state so shame there on NY'ers big time.) You have to make your own coffee which is not my favorite thing and has several drawbacks especially takes away from the class of any establishment it is like wawa or something. Anyway, it is an ok place so far we met 2x for breakfast. My friend gets a veggie omlette and he swears it is wonderful, the coffee is ok and my traditional breakfast was ok but crispy bacon was like leather. Bacon should be crispy, like crunchy, not like kevlar. What really is tough nowadays is finding good workers and anything can happen anywhere in today's world. That is why a deli used to have the owners, their kids and even grandparents there everyday just like a pizza place etc. That is where the name "Mom and Pop" comes from, duh. It also means that we feed a family when we give them business, not a faceless corporation. Good luck and hope you make a good business. Support local business especially those that stayed open during the covid mishandling when we needed them most. I will toss up some photos next time I visit: the owner surely needs to post a few. If ya don't give up and...

I recently took my son and grandson out for a game of basketball, and afterward, I told them about a deli at Mountainview that I had visited before and really enjoyedâthe sandwiches were fantastic on my first visit. We arrived around 3:23 PM, tired and ready to unwind after a good game. At 68 years old, playing basketball with younger family members really wears you out, and I was looking forward to sitting down and enjoying a good meal.
We placed our order and let the young lady at the counter know that weâd like to dine in. She informed us that the deli closes at 4 PM, which was understandableâwe figured we'd be finished by then or shortly after. In most cases, restaurants allow patrons to finish their meals even if they arrive a bit before closing time.
However, she quickly suggested we eat outside, which gave me the impression that she didn't want to deal with cleaning up after us. The problem was, it was windy and starting to rainâhardly ideal conditions for an outdoor meal. I was genuinely surprised by the lack of hospitality.
Whatever happened to professional courtesy and customer service? It's unfortunate, because I really liked the food, but after this experience, we wonât...
Read moreThis is the second time Iâve ordered a hoagie and it came on a Kaiser bun when specifically asked for the long hoagie roll. The only reason I even order from here is the rolls are amazing but this will be the last time. I specifically asked for the fresh hoagie roll before I even placed my order. I drove 35 mins for the sandwich and it went in the garbage along with the money I wasted to get the sandwich. I hen you try to call to see if they can replace the sandwich nobody answers just goes to voicemail. Iâve been coming here for a long time and refer people to go there all the time just really sucks because the last time I ordered they didnât have the hoagie rolls so I didnât order because thatâs just how good the hoagie rolls are. Super disappointing and they never answer the phone very disappointed. I spend good money here and itâs like impossible to get the order rite. You got the last order from me and my family unless you want to refund me which I...
