Beaver Dam Creek County Park — Attraction in Point Pleasant

SAFETY ALERT Many of the boards on the elevated boardwalk through the Beaver Dam Creek marsh are warped, rotten and the nails have rusted away. Two nights ago one gave way under me and sent me sprawling. Smashed my knee and seriously injured my right hand. Newly renovated playground is different than most in the area. Definitely for ages 6 and up as most of it is just the giant octopus. There isn't much for younger kids, just the seesaw and a few random stations that really did nothing. I'd definitely take my 7 year old here but for a toddler not worth it.
