Stop & Shop — Local services in Point Pleasant

I will never Shop in your store again, u people have no remorse on how you treat your customers! Today I send my daughter out to buy me 2 of the pasta tins for my sterno racks. I gave her my card expecting to see maybe a $6 receipt but I almost lost my mind when she gave me a $16 receipt! I could not believe it when i saw that each dam tin was $7.49 for 1! Just1!!! As u can see am still not over my anger! I can not believe that during our hard times these company that swears they have lowered their prices and is a WONDERFUL AND FRIENDLY PLACE TO SHOP, would hit people's wallet this hard for only 2 stupid items that one can get 8 in a pack at BJs for only $9.99! Now i know u r probably wondering why I didn't do that,well let me tell u why,BJs is too far and I had a house full of people! Am sure some of u out there might understand! Back to u" Stop and Shop!" More like" Stop and Rip u Off "suits ur company better, shame on u shame...

I enjoy stop and shop. It's close. They have a great variety. Pricing is fair to high. But....they changed the store around. They also added an entire section of self checkout that aparently means they will only have two MAYBE 3 standard check outs open at any given moment. Not only have my last 3 shopping trips taken twice as long to find what I need, the shelves have also been quite empty in many areas. Checkout is worse. Thanks to the lack of open, manned registers, it now takes twice as long to checkout. I would rather deal with Walmart than go there anymore. I'm sure I still will but it won't be for a full on grocery trip and it won't happen very often. As an ending note, I've overheard too many other shoppers complaining about the lack of help, lack of open registers, and the absolute confusion over navigating the store. Used to...

Love this Store. Great selection of Fresh Fruits & Vegetables that actually stays fresher longer than any other supermarket Ive wasted money at. The entire store offers a great range of selections with competive prices & great coupons both in store and online (Digital Coupons). If you can't find what you're looking for don't hesitate to ask an employee. They are friendly, professional, helpful & courteous. I almost didn't want to give a review because this is a small quaint store and I'd love to keep it a secret but I know the summer is jam packed & tourist will definitely be shopping here. So to all the Tourists & New settlers to the area make it a point to Shop here & Bring a Smile Best...
