Badcock Home Furniture & More of Pompano — Attraction in Pompano Beach

This was my first time ever purchasing furniture from Badcock. I was really excited for my frame to come in as I just moved into a new property. I wasn’t there for my delivery, my parents were and I’m guessing they signed off the papers so unfortunately I wasn’t there to inspect the sturdiness of the wood that was supposedly going to hold my mattress and my weight. When I got home to view the frame, it didn’t look as sturdy as I liked it to be. I ignored the looks and proceeded to go to sleep. It was late, I was tired, and just ready for bed. In the middle of the night, my bed suddenly collapsed. My son and I woke up immediately. I’m really disappointed that my bed frame broke the same day I received it. For the price of the bed frame I expected for the material to at least be sturdy enough to handle a 145lb 5’1ft woman. I was interested in getting my money back and just purchasing a new frame from somewhere else as I am not satisfied with the product I purchased from Badcock. Beware I bought a combined sofa & love seat (simili leather).They offered to take a warranty.I refused since my wife & I take great care of our belongings.Furthermore we don’t have children’s & live here less than 5 months a year.After less than 22 months (less than 10 months of actual usage,the love seat starts to detoriate so much that the simili leather detached from the sofa & sticked to the skin.I called and they sent a representative to our condominium.The person couldn’t not comprehend the condition of the love seat,while the sofa looked like brant new.A few days later a received a call from Badcock stating that they would contacted the manufacturer to replace the love seat.I thought that it would be a fair arrangement from a responsable company.Later they said this was not anymore possible & offered a 250.00$ worth of their furnitures as long as I was going to return my sofa & love seat(value at least 1500.00$).I could not believe my ears.If you need furniture,buy from a company that have good products & specially a company that take care of their customers.

There's a reason why people say do your research first I would never purchase from them again nor would I recommend them to my worst enemy I thought I purchased a brand-new refrigerator just to find out that it was actually a refurbished 2011 I purchased the refrigerator for roughly 600.00 and had it for less than 3 months when I called the warranty department I was told there was no warranty and I would be responsible for 600 for parts and labor that's a 1200 investment on a 2011 refrigerator when I called the store the manager who sold the fridge to me he stated that he would get back to me bottom line still waiting with no response from there staff and 200.00 worth of food and medication going bad if I wanted a refurbished refrigerator I would have gone to craigslist.I feel like I got a broke down hooptie from a shaky sales man.My next step is reporting them to the BBB and possibly help me Howard please save yourself the headache and stick with hhgreg...
