Luxe Nail Spa — Attraction in Pompano Beach

I am so disappointed with the service I received today . My first time here was a good experience. So I can back and unfortunately this time it was the complete opposite . When I arrived I showed the nail tech a very specific photo of what I wanted my nails to look like . Which was French nails with different shades of pink . I didn’t think it would be that difficult. he told me that it would be $25 more for French tip. Which I agreed to . in the picture I showed him. The nails were super long and I told him I wanted medium length instead . I booked an appointment online for a full set and Pedicure and online it says it would be $89. They close at five , my appointment was at 3:30pm , he didn’t finish my pedicure until 4:30. Leaving only 30 minutes to complete a full set. For this reason now he started as he’s doing my na complaining about having to use 4 different nail polishes . He told me he was going to charge $10 more if I messed them up, and $10 more to outline my French tips because “it’s hard to do”, then says he’s just kidding . He kept checking the clock, rushing and nervous about the time . Finally we’re near finishing and now he tells me that my full set will be $95 NOT INCLUDING my pedicure . The manager in the front comes over to explain the price breakdown . And says it’s $60 for full set , $20 for French , and $15 for long . MY NAILS ARE MEDIUM LENGTH (please see the pictures attached). I explained that paying $95 for plain French tip nails is absurd . This (manager) guy then proceeds to tell the nail tech “cut all her nails off , she does not want to pay “ . I felt so embarrassed and very racially profiled . He automatically assumed I did not want to pay because he was judging me by my looks . I never once said I was not going to pay . Throughout the entire process I was thinking about giving the man a generous tip for all his hard work. I simply only expressed that the pricing was ridiculous, and the nail tech waited till he was nearly finished to tell me the price. He was simply pressed for time and just wanted to keep bumping up that price so that I would agree to something else easier for him to do . The shop was closing and everybody was leaving so he felt pressured. I’m extremely disappointed with this services . And would never refer anyone here again . Don’t bother making an appointment with this place. I’ve been coming here religiously for a while and I have no idea why. Every time I’ve come therye either late or schedule me for no reason because Im On time and they are not. The guy upfront has no idea what he’s doing and constantly over books appointments probably so that they don’t lose money and they have someone filling the spot whoever shows up or whatever which is pretty shitty. I realized this after I was constantly making appointments and was never taken at my appointment time.

Let’s talk about the prices, never know what price you’re paying because they always make it up and charge you for everything even when they do sloppy quick job. My last review she asked me to take it down lol because I mentioned how they charge you for a pedicure that’s so basic every time I leave here I’m paying at least $70 or more for a pedicure plus tip I tip very nicely. they barely scrub your feet. They water down their cuticle solution. It’s just a very cheapie pedicure and even if you pay more for those outrageous other pedicures they have, it’s still very basic because I paid for upgraded pedicures that were terrible here.

When I got up after realizing im not next to ask the guy so I’m not getting my appointment at 11? He started going off on me telling me it’s not his fault. So he was just gonna let me sit there like a dummy and not even say anything to me. He blamed it on the nail tech throwing his hands up like I was asking him crazy questions, but I was trying to find out about my appointment since he wasn’t going to bother to tell me. I said you should’ve at least called me let me know the same courtesy if I’m not coming or I’m late which never happens it’s always them. he just had me sitting there.

This is the last time I will ever come here I walked out. Wasted my Morning with an appointment I made days before.. Over priced as hell. Can’t even get white polish because it’s never neat. don’t...

Went in earlier for a full set and pedicure and it was completely botched. I got acrylic on both of my big toes near the corners because of chipping and asked for basic square. My full set was supposed to be medium French set. When she originally put my nails on a few were crooked and I showed her BEFORE she applied the acrylic. She reassured me she could fix them. Once the acrylic was applied and drilling and filing was done the nails were still crooked and on top of that my ring finger was so over filed all the way around that it matched my pinky nail. I spoke up about it and she then proceeded to tell me it was because of the way my fingers were and my nail was crooked because my fingers were crooked. I got up and just proceeded to tell her I didn’t want them painted. She apologized and asked numerous times for her to let her finish please. I really try not to be one of “those clients” I’m in the beauty industry and understand that things like this happen and not all sets are perfect etc but I spoke up about not enjoying my nails. She finished the nails and they were just nubby and French was thick and stretched on one side and not the other. I’m now home looking closely at my toes and this is just unacceptable. The acrylic is so thick that you can’t even get under the nail. She forgot to put glitter on 3 of my toes and one of my toe nails are completely crooked and Unidentical to the other. Again I understand they’re not going to be “twins” but they’re not “sisters” either. My pinky toe has so much top coat that it bubbled and looks like it has acrylic. I would normally go in and try to have things fixed before I write a review like this but from my initial experience and trying to have my nails alone fixed I just think I’m going to go to my normal spot. I’m so upset that I came here and understand not every tech is like this and that’s the reason for the 2 stars. I hope this was just a bad day for the tech but this a not okay. I will not...
